spent day modernizing (less madmax vibes more streamline) the shrockworks rear bumper by:

I need to add the body molding like you have. I’ve had a bad door ding for a couple of years that I need to fix and then add the molding. I have another one a little lower in front of the rear fender. You can see the distortion using the zebra method. I think the molding gives it some character and doesn’t seem to take away.
Easy install? Pros and cons? TIA

really easy just follow the directions. I got mine on amazon paint matched and has lasted since 2016. i recommend it.

Wrapped the center console trim.

Did also the two vertical pieces where the HVAC knobs are but not pleased with result going to re-do those.

Also do the two steering wheel parts and the piece above the glove box - wood trim (Limited).

Thats a smart move. I bought some but never had to use them.

Test them out before this winter! It’ll suck if they don’t fit when you need them.

Are these the ones you have? I’m guessing you went with the FE2 style molding shown in the cross section image. They show attitude black only and I have midnight. Paint code is the same. Hopefully they are.

I finally have installed my Harris commercial multiband radio and it complements the Yaesu FT-857D radio quite well. The XGM-100M handles Rx/Tx across 136-174, 380-520, 762-870 MHz and Rx only for 30-50 MHz without an external module. That radio will handle both work and "play" frequencies. I can now clean up the cabling in the back with some split loom and tie wraps.

Nice post! I think I might install my radio like this. What cables did you use to run from the battery to the radios? Also, what mount did you use for the faceplate up in the cab? Thanks,

0. tinted the auxilary backup lights in bumper
1. Replacing all the screws with stainless button heads.
2. remove hiliift
3. hidden shovel mount
4. hidden black hilift jack pad/base
5. spray painted the propane straps to black (not pictured).
6. remove shackles
7. remove tow hitch
8. installed driver side ARK splash guards (which sucks if you have KDSS and remote rezi's)
9. painted the gobi bracket mounts to black.
10. added offroad flag mount (hidden)
11. added 3d printed badge

its all the little things.

dude ark splash guards on kdss with resi's and double shear UCA gussets is a PAIN. i took my time and i still over cut the splashguards lmao

tell me about it, i was getting pissed. only mistake i made was i drilled out the upper hole in the splash guard a little too big..not a big deal.

4. easy to access.
5. easy to mount
6. can be mounted at angle (to clear spare tire and hatch)

Con:
1. expensive.
2. bulky

I think it turned out alright.

Discount Tire just installed four Blizzak DMV2 on the 4R. First snow/freezing temps expected this week.
Will get winter swap from all seasons to the garaged Nokians again this year for SWMBO's Outback XT.
