What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I always scratch my head when I see guys with the US flag etched on a 4Runner side window - maybe on a Ford or Chevy but on a Toy? No…

I don't have a US flag on my side window, but I do have one in my hitch plug. I believe Ford is still mainly assembled in US. Many if not most Chevy trucks are assembled in Mexico.

I appreciate seeing a US flag on anything, in my opinion not enough people display it however it's done.

What makes Made in Mexico Ford more USA than Japan made 4Runner other than American Corporation? Toyota makes most of car models in USA now, where Ford and GM moved to other countries to cut cost of labor.

Installed a RAM phone holder.
I have screwed one of the diamond shaped base plates to the side of the dash.
On the RAM Quick Grip i installed a charging cable and moved it down behind the dash to the usb port. i also modified the holder-arm so that it can swivel a little further towards the passenger side (more free space at the ball support). Then it was time to play around a little with the obd2 adapter (OBDLInk MX+). Soon i will have everything i need in the 4 runner, but there are still a few ideas :nod:

I think they look great. I just have a Flag Sticker in rear window next to NRA lifer sticker.

I installed a Pedal Commander on my 2023 ORP. Really liking the feel of City +2 right now. Makes the truck way more fun to drive.

I previously had a Pedal Commander on my manual transmission Wrangler but I didn’t care for it on a manual. In the automatic 4Runner it works great.

One issue I did have is that the oil filter drain plug would not come out.

Buy a metal replacement housing for the next oil change. When you put the small plug in, put oil on the small O ring and on the threads.

Helped a neighbor with an Avalon when that happened to him. His housing was metal, so we trapped the tabs in a vice and got it out.

I do have the metal one… maybe I didn’t put oil on the threads can’t remember.

Raised in 1/2” inch now I’m at about 2.5” in the front and 2” in the rear.

I also installed some silver rails in place of the black rails I had previously as well as added two new crossbars. 2 crossbars are in the middlish to mount my 4 gallon rotopax, and the other 2 are spread further out and will be used for my ski racks.

Cargo tray removal

Hello, I'm currently changing up my 2015 sr5, I currently have the cargo pull out tray and want to remove it. Anybody searching to add a cargo tray to their 4runner?

I want to have just a flat trunk space, does anybody know where to find the replacement so I can make it look stock? Thanks!!

Purchased a new ‘23 TRD ORP and got my new lift, wheels and tires. Very happy with the stance and the tire fitment. Some slight trimming to the front bumper and removed front mud flaps:

- Bilstein 6112/5160 (highest setting, #9 & #7 clips)
- 2” ICON springs in rear
- Fifteen52 Range HD wheels 17x8.5, 0 offset
- Toyo Open Country RT Trails 285/70/17
- PakRax Rock Sliders

Took the fam and a few friends up in the mountains for a picnic for my birthday on Sunday. The weather was amazing and the views were spectacular.
