The TPS is non-replaceable part of the throttle body, to replace it you have to replace the entire throttle body.
The 3rd Gens were the last generation that the TPS was replaceable.
What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

drove it. :shrug: 2016 with 103k miles. Short of a LS swap, i dont think we'll do anything to do anymore. Wife legit said today "I wish it had a v8"

Bought my wife a M850i, it has a Twin Turbo V8, I told her....I need one like this in my 4Runner!

does anyone know if the headrests from the 2014+ 4runners will fit the early 5th gen ones? 2010-2013. I suspect so but I cannot confirm. I have dual headrest DVDs that were put in when the car was new but no one uses DVD anymore and want to go back to regular headrests. I don't have the originals

I have a 2018 4Runner TRD Pro with 59,900 miles. In addition to a $1,500 set of brand new tires, I've installed a Gobi roof rack and a Southern Style Slimline front bumper + light bar. Also important, it has a clean title and is in excellent condition overall.
Having said all of that, I'm planning to sell the vehicle this summer. I'm struggling mightily to find a comparison that's the TRD Pro and this low of miles. Kelly Blue Book also doesn't seem to be anything close to a good indicator of value.
If this was your vehicle, what would you list it at? Many thanks!

Im going to be removing my rosen dual dvd headrest monitors. anyone interested? they work perfectly and have a game controller, remote, and 2 IR headsets. I ordered a set of OEM headrests from ebay and USPS lost the package it looks like. fail.

Important to get a feel for the local market. Look thru Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist etc and that will help you get a feel for what is going on in the local area. I know in my area (Northern Calif), there are still plenty of people pining for older Toyota 4Runners, trucks, LandCruisers etc. The new engine tech they released (and recalled) these past few years didn't do Toyota any favors.

New set of KO3's (including spare) and alignment for the summer.
Stock size 265/70/17 E (yes E)
Coming off where stock size KO2's C - 6 years and just over 52K miles. Still good tread left, just getting old.
OCD with being 1-2 PSI of 44 PSI
120lbs usually of constant weight in vehicle (tools/recovery/misc)
350lbs on camping trips throughout the summer, 3 - 5 times a year (dirt and rockier roads).
No noticeable noise with KO3's (never noticed any real noise with KO2's either)
Happy with alignment, last week I had also added a Dobinson slight lift (put my post on that in Dobinsons thread). (+/-) 1" front - 1/2" rear - Stock UCA's
The ride home with the KO3's was great. Seemed to "track" really well, solid, no shimy or shake at any speed. Road Force balanced. I understand a slightly heavier tire with E load but have heard great reviews on this tire. (I removed my rear seat bottoms which I think is close to the new additional tire weight) Will run at 44 PSI also as recommended.
MPG: Highway average with KO'2s and stock suspension was 21 - 23 MPG. (my "Tank MPG" on Scanguage has been 20.4)
A 40 mile mix of highway and backroads drive home with KO3's and new suspension yielded 19.9 MPG for that specific trip. I will reset and do a proper long highway drive to test for more accurate MPG.
If anyone's in the Boston area, highly recommend Wellsley Toyota. Small dealership that does a lot of 4x4 work, very knowledgable, experienced and friendly crew.

Added Perry Parts bump stops. Since I just did the suspension and sway bar bushings, figured I'd round that overall project out with new bump stops.
A little pricey but I did like the tech behind the product and the company's story.
Also did some Woolwax touch up with the wheels off, and trying their new product DryWax on any newer parts I've added.

It was time to replace the engine splash guards. Both of the front ones were cracked and then disintegrated when I removed them. The rears were still pliable but I replaced anyway. They were cleaned up and will be returned to my stash of parts. I went with Rad Rubber. It took more than 4 weeks between order and delivery but I’ve been busy so it was not an issue. Install went well but removing the wheels is recommended. Funny to still see the double-sided foam squares I installed 14 years ago doing their job keeping the fasteners from squeaking.
