What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed Denso coils and plugs tonight. Original "sumitomo 1996" wires and original denso toyota coils on my 1997 (184,XXX miles). Noticed quicker starting and better response on test drive. I am sure that is to be expected since the originals are 15 years old. Toyota love you long time!

Chris over in the 5th Gen section made them up for me. A tweak here and there to fit the 3rd gen and here they are. I like them and I'll be doing a bit of highway driving today, so I'll give them a little test.

Today my damn clutch failed again. I replaced the slave cylinder and master cylinder with oem parts and replaced the fluid all 4,000 miles ago. Hopefully it's just air in the line.

That's how my dads was doing so I wondered if I wasn't tightening it down well enough. I didn't do anything special the last time but its been doing fine for a few thousand miles now.

He has a 96 ranger yard work/trash hauler that I'm talking about so we weren't that concerned about it.

Ya I'm going to get under it today and make sure I tightened the bleed valve all the way.
