What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Picked up some new tires and wheels for the 4runner today! 285/75/16 I cant wait to get the lift and get these bad boys on. I was wanting to pick up some Durratracs but for the price for the tire wheel combo I couldn't pass it up!

If anyone has any real world experience with the Dakotas please chime in! I know they wont be as good as the durratracs but like I said above I couldnt beat the price.

Installed my superflex coils today and swapped my stock bump stops for the "junkyard" bump stops (Chevy Blazer bump stops). I highly suggest a second set of hands or some spring compressors for the superflex coils install. They are pretty long and were a pain to put in by myself. I was at 24" before with my Downey coils and now around 23.5" now. I'm hoping it won't settle too much. I forgot to get pictures of the final look, but will get them tomorrow.

Got my TRD springs and 5100's mounted together. Also working on refinishing a set of those sexy wheels. May be another year before lift is installed, but I felt like I got something done.

I was eyeballing that bumper too... Out of curiosity, how much work did that need to make it fit? Seems like if an ARB Tacoma bumper would fit then this would be pretty close.

BTW, was that you last Friday making a left exiting on Via Rancho Parkway?

got the rear brakelines done and built a rear bumper. pretty much a clone of Addicted Offroad's 3rd gen rear bumper which i was crazy about but couldn't scrape up the money to buy one so i thought i'd try and build one myself out of some material i had laying around. i did try to change it up a little. normally i would've built it differently and be original but their design is by far one the nicest i've seen on a 3rd gen!!!

I knew that was you! I saw your rig and meant to send you a PM haha. I live about a mile up Via Rancho.

About an inch off my frame rails would have to be cut off.
