What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Nothing yet but I'm staring at her out the window while I sip on some coffee. She's wet with the morning dew and the mountains behind her are lit up pink as the sun is coming up behind her. She sits there so peaceful and clean not knowing what's in store but she's game as she's been built to suit. Today she will be given a quick vacuum before I make sure all tools and recovery gear is in place. After some more coffee and a full tank of premium we will be on our way to go crawl and drag her over some rocks.:tongue:

Nice setup you got there. I have a SONOS tv bar, sub and two play ones in the rear. I love it so much!!

Now you need to upgrade the Toshiba!!!

Happiness doesn't always come in the forms we expect. Nor is it always a lot of hard work and dedication that culminates in a grand event worth writing about.

It's not often I can read a thread post and absolutely smile with genuine happiness. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post and could sense your joy in your family and the "little" things in life that make us real men. When it's all said and done, our "rigs" as we so affectionately call them, are nothing more than expendable rides that could never replace the happiness our families bring us...or finding a handful of rock-hard jelly beans. My power steering pump went out two days before my beach trip, so I scrambled to get a reman'd pump in. Ended up using a duralast reman from Autozone. Working like a charm!

added about 10 hp today

Finally got around to changing the oil in the diffs and transfer case. Had to scrape about 5 years worth of crud off the front diff to find the fill bolt. Then added about 10 horsepower by painting my skid plate.

Also added an EP35 Flasher to correct the hyperflash after doing a fat lip bumper swap - thanks [MENTION=97483]Chuckles89[/MENTION]

Headed out to the beach to do some fishing! Got hooked up with a 45" drum and a 5ft tiger shark. And that was the first night!

rebuilt my fox\icon shocks and put new bushings into my upper TC arms over the last two weekends.

The fox shocks were in much better shape than the icons after 60k miles.

both Fox shocks were in very good condition, just very used shock oil.

Both icon shocks had blown shaft seals and were leaking badly, they also had blown IFP(internal floating piston) seals. One of the IFPs didn't have the hole tapped in it so it was a ***** to remove. The shaft seals were way harder to change than the foxs

The quality of the icon shocks was just not up to par with the fox shocks.

I wish fox would make a remote reservoir 2.5" shock for the rear.
