Painted my rims satin black using VHT wheel paint. I might redo them matte down the road. Next up tires.

custom roof rack

Hey guys just finished my custom roof rack today! Built completely from scratch. Check her out!

Wrote down a list of things to have the mechanic fix.

Valve cover gaskets
Fuel pressure regulator
Belts
Check the valve timing
Check fuel pressure
Weld in a new high flow cat and Borla muffler
Inspection

Stuff I could easily do myself but have no desire to.

Passed 180,000 miles

Drove down the road to get gas and stopped in my neighborhood to snap the pic. In 3.5 years as the 2nd owner I've put roughly 25k miles on it. Currently putting together a checklist of maitnenance items to do so I keep it running strong for the next 25k.

Ordered the rest of the stuff I need for the CB radio and repainting the Drifter CB Antenna mount. Also trying to bend it enough so the rear hatch doesn't keep hitting it.

Just dropped my door panels off at an upholstery shop to have the cloth removed and resurfaced as black vinyl. Shouldn't take more than a few days so will upload some pictures when they're on.

I finally took off the running boards and knocked off the rust and painted the driver side of the frame. will tackle the passenger side next weekend before classes start back up.

Snagged an '01 owners manual for $10 on Ebay since mine didn't come with one and I like to have one for reference.

Ordered some Toytec bump stop drop spacers after wheeling' yesterday and observed nasty tire contact in the rear.

Dropped it off at the shop for the above laundry list of stuff.

Replaced worn out lift gate struts with strongarm ones.

Rrplaced broken head lamps with new depo brand ones.

Put sylvania leds in the front parking lights.

Tried to install some amazon led dome lights but didnt fit very well so ordered some from pfranled instead.

Ordered a wheelskin and a cv boot clamp.

They were $20 each so not exactly high expectations, but they seem to work ok.

What did you replace them with?

Dropped the driveshaft off to be rebuilt. Hopefully that will solve my vibration issue while accelerating.

Just curious, did you see they had heavy duty ones? That is what i put on mine about 8 months ago, and they are great, the gate will slap you in the face if your not careful, and kinda hard to pull back down. I am happy with mine, don't know why yours didn't work out.
