Nice custom badging, I haven't seen a TRD badge like that, in that spot. I have been contemplating putting the 4Runner badge back on, leaving the sombrero bean off, and TRD on the lower right.

I am still going totally badgeless until I decide on a look. Once I stick em on, they aint comin off. :cowboy:

Which tails are those? I like the look on our black runners. Oh and Badass spoiler :bigok:

I was badgeless besides the Toyota logo and decided it was just too plain, it needed something. I wanted a bigger one but the only one I could find that was bigger was over 100 bucks and no way in hell was I paying that much for an emblem.

The tail lights are the LED tails off of eBay. I just put a coat of spray tint on them.

Got my alignment done I did not do it but that what I had done

I got another Proclip mount and the holder for my Samsung galaxy Tab 2, 7" tablet today.
So, I wasted no time mounting it... now I have one for the phone and one for the tablet. I used the male/female mounts for the tablet holder so I can remove it when not in use.
It's much nicer having the larger screen for navigation.

Today I discovered how much of a pain in the butt it is to change our rear drum brakes. Next time I need drum brakes changed...I'll pay someone to do it haha...

After getting the lift installed 2 weeks ago.. i finally got my rubber n rims.. before you all gag at the site of whats left of my chrome bumpers.. breathe easy.... HD bumpers are in the works..

If i posted too many i'm sorry... i'm excited..

I replaced my front diff drain plug. Between it leaking gear oil 24/7 and being nearly stripped, it was time.

168,783 miles. Changed my fluids... Front/Rear Differentials, Transmission, Transfer, Engine Oil/Filter. Had to replace my rear diff fill plug.

Love the chrome. Without it I wouldn't like it nearly as much.

Wheels look strangely good too. If anybody were to ask if they would look good on a runner I'd think they would look terrible. You proved me wrong.

At least they aren't rockstar wheels =)

I think the runner looks great. I really like the wheel/tire combo. Also agree that the bumpers break it up nicely.

I had no idea that Chrome was still such a good seller! I have already ordered the bumpers. I just have to wait for them to come in. I have got a big size hole of cancer on the rear bumper and the front has water spots on it... looks awful... Originally, i did not want to blacken out the whole truck, but before i knew it i was almost there..

I have to use this weekend(sorry Mom) to take her to the shop and find out what all that white grease is under the the front end AND where it came. I also have to check out my CEL and why IT came on- first time since i drove it off the lot in 97. i'll attach pictures...

when i turn the wheel hard either to the right or left the Duratrac inside knobbies rub on the upper control arm... the pictures suck but you can see how close this is.. I was thinking spacers... but that might present a whole new issue..

First post!

After much searching I found a decent (for Ontario) specimen and I've almost got it on the road.

'97 SR5 V6 MT E-lock. Evergreen pearl w/tan.
295k kms.

Looks like it was a city slicker and probably lived a good chunk of it's life in a garage- definitely the least rusty of any I looked at (Low rust was my primary consideration as I don't like doing body work. Everything else is fun. Or so I tell myself)

All it needed to safety was 3rd brake light and license plate bulbs and some brake work up front which I'm working on now. I replaced a rear window rail as well and now the window goes up and down like it did when it was new.

Rebuilding the front calipers this weekend! I am also going to drill out and re-tap the tab on the steering knuckle where the brake line mounting bracket mounts. Or where it used to at least. When I got it, it was held on with zip-ties.
