Went to the local pull apart yesterday. Wasnt expecting to find anything. There was an 01 4runner there that had been rolled over, but it still had all of the fender flares. 20 bucks later here it sits!

Some superglue was required...

Still need to replace the rear passenger door and get that piece before it will be done. the passenger side flares took a heck of a beating during the roll over. Painting them black once they are all mounted

gave my chipped up center caps a respray with a couple coats of silver and a coat or two of clear. they look good as new now. total wheel refurb to come.

Attempted the Tacoma whip antenna swap.

Began routing the new antenna wire in the cabin which got hung up somewhere and stuck. An unsuccessful hour later as I lay on my back trying to get it out of there with just about everything removed, I spotted the old antenna assembly laying on the ground.

Spliced the end of the old one on to the new one. Ziptied in place, and now I have glorious FM reception.

I agree, it would be a pain to follow the stock wire so I routed mine differently. Came around the top edge of carpet in the passenger floor board and then up to the radio. Been working fine.

relocated my 2lo/4lo switch from in the glove box to by the cluster dimmer switch. much more convenient

painted my flares with undercoating today. thought it was bedliner, but i got the wrong can. hopefully it dries.... Also installed my self pull rear spoiler tonight!

Got my ultra gauge installed today and all set up. Just need to route the slack in the cable a bit and it'll be all set for the windshield mount. I'll be hard-mounting it sometime in the near future, just too busy for it today.

So far it seems like a decent unit.

Worked on installing lift, wheels + tires.
3" revtec spacers on the front that were fee take off from my Tacoma, ome coils and 5100s rear. Tires are 285/70/17 guard dogs on Raceline monsters, with 1" Bora work spacers since the wheels were 5" backspace.
Also installed an ultra gauge.

Well last night I attempted to get the dent out of my rear hatch so i could roll the window up until i pick up my new rear hatch. now its only open about an inch. I miss driving it and feel like its neglected sitting in the garage for over a week now

After 13 years my alternator started to fail, so I had it replaced. 13 years from a alternator is good, right?

Went out to install my Donahoe coilovers and remove the Saw's. Found this...

I think a year of driving on it was good enough. it's just a small slit in the boot and I'm tempted to try and repair it. Any ideas?

After seeing that I ended up spending way too long installing the Donahoe's and accidentally cross threaded one of the top plate holes. Luckily it was the wrong hole to use, so I was able to complete the job at 12. Took it for a quick spin and I'm very happy with the ride. I don't have any pics of the final product as it was dark, but will in the soon.

Yeah I'll probably just drive with it till I have issues then I'll get a replacement CV. It's a small rip, so I might be able to repair it easy enough.

Looking good, man. Love the new stance. How you liking that ultra gauge? So far I'm all about mine. It's actually my wife's ride so she's gotten to play with it more than I have.
