A day that started with hope and promise for my 4runner ended with frustration and difficulty. I tried to put my 5100's on but my top studs were not about to come off, taking it to my mechanic tomorrow...

Wasn't today but over the weekend, worked on my drivers side window. I don't know about the rest of you but my DS window was really starting to get noisy and was noticeably slower and louder than the other windows. With the window rolled all the way up I used a letter opener to pull back the black trim as I went along spraying some liquid wrench down into the door cavity where the window sits on the track.
A few points to pass along. There are holes at the bottom of your door, what you spray in there is going to leak out the bottom. Keep your door open and let it drip on the ground (in my case, my driveway, doh). Its going to leak for a while so be prepared to leave your doors open for a while if you plan on doing this. I sprayed both sides of the window (interior and exterior). I think you really only need to do the interior, the exterior just foamed up and made a mess. I used the straw on the spray nozzle. Might have actually worked better without it as it would disperse more, and maybe not carry so much to the bottom of the door and leak all over the place. You're going to have to clean your windows after you work them up and down 1/2 a dozen times or so to work it into and along the track, so be prepared to do so. Unless you get something that doesn't smell as bad as liquid wrench, your trucks going to stink a bit. Do it when its warm and you can drive around with the windows down for a while (I think not using the straw will help with this also, again less liquid, more dispersement).
Overall though it worked great. My DS window is by far the fastest quietest window in my truck at the moment. I can start it the same time as the passenger (up or down) and its almost twice as fast as the passenger side. If I don't get a chance to do the others before it gets cold again i'll just have to wait for springtime to do it, so I can cruise around with the windows down, but it makes a huge difference, if you're having the same issues with noisy/sluggish windows, I'd think about trying it.

Pics coming. We finished late last night, busy day today.
LC coils much softer. 890's much better for my needs. Sits a lot more level now too. Can't wait for my Addco's to get here now.
After the spacers, I have new rubbing issues. Little trimming on the front valence and pinch welds will be happening this week.

POS autozone starter failed last night, lasted me 8 months. Don't buy one.

Yeah I had the lifetime warranty on it but it p i s s e d me off so much that I didn't want to put another POS auto zone starter in just to replace it again next year when that one breaks. I just went and bought one from "Riebes" for $140, which also has a lifetime warranty. Hopefully this one doesn't fault. Toyota wanted $240.
