Changed the oil and made the switch to Mobil 1.
Also replaced the plastic rivet that holds the side cover for the center console down. Was like $1 something at the dealer for the part. 3 of the 4 sides had broken off, no wonder it wouldn't stay in.

I changed the oil and tucked it away in the garage. I got a promotion at work and now have a brand new 2013 Infiniti G37x as a company car. It has officially been retired from daily driving duty, and will serve as a off road toy from now on.

Double checked the facts that the alignment shop told me I needed inner and outer tie rods before alignment. I don't trust any shop other than myself unfortunately. But I do need the parts so will be ordering those and putting them on next week.

Finally replaced my blower motor resistor. Low fan speed! That has been so annoying not having it. Forgot to set the clock forward.

Earlier in the week, I replaced my rear wheel bearing/seals and brakes. So nice to have a working rear brakes and parking brake. I discovered the reason the rear was leaking soo bad....no inner seals! WTF! Somone screwed up somewhere. Lol

Cleaned the MAF, hoping it fixes the CEL. Figures it throws a code as smog is due.:boxer:
Weird occurence sitting at a stop light (4runner warmed up) look at the AFR gauge and see it going up, up 17...18....19.9 at idle, thinking WTF! look at the scan gauge says "Open Loop" then CEL trips.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. I had a very similar problem, searched for that problem FOREVER. Like yours, I could watch it lean out until the CEL tripped at stop lights. Very random though, not every time. Once every few days.

My leak was at my 7th injector (don't ask...) and I could actually hear it with the hood popped. Faint hissing.

Replaced my passenger side mirror

Got some help from a coworker and we knocked this out in the company parking lot. Cost me less than five bucks on ebay. The hardest part was getting the fragmented pieces off since adhesive was very strong. No damage to heating element. Whole process took about 20 minutes. Picking up all parts from Japan on Tuesday and will go straight to a shop and have my tailgate installed.

I just drove 48miles at night. It was nice to just put the fan switch on low and the temp about 3/4 toward hot..it was perfect.......except my CEL came on! :doh:

BTW. It took less than 10 minutes to do.

Rad, cap and therm

I've been overheating so I replaced the stock radiator with a koyo, OEM cap and OEM thermostat. Flushed engine cooling system and installed the new rad. Took it up in the moutains with ac on, ECT on and in second gear with zero temp change during the hour and a half drive. Inspected timing belt and water pump while I was at it, they are the originals. 200k on those, time to start shopping for T/B, water pump, idler pulley etc.

Actually that is the DRL disable mod that I left the ability to add a switch later if I want.

I was going to do the 1.0 to get rid if ABS but I went with 2.0 and it works. I Have the ASC/TRAC off all the time lol as for the ABS disable I have something in the works for that I did the transmission cooler and it was super easy

No I'm running Raceline Renegade 6's. I sold the LX's a month ago because of the brakes issue and I got a sweet deal on my Renegades.
