I've been leakiing air in my front tire for a week & finally got it patched today for < $13 and in/out in under 20min @ Hahn's Tire, Seffner,Fl. Also found out my 31x10.5s are suppose to run with 50lbs of air...I've been running with 35lbs ever since I bought the 4runner back in Nov '12. Better gas milage here I come .

Per COB's little accident: it shows how thin automakers are making their metal today. It looks like someone took a sardine can and rolled it up.

It is incidents like these that make me leave my tow hitch in my receiver. It lessens the impact of stupidity or ignorance that indigents behind the wheel can have on my auto.

snapped top off stock shocks

Saturday i attended a great class at Uwharrie Off Road Training Center. (UORTC.COM) The class ended with a trail ride. Crossing a water bar the stress was to much and snapped the top bolt off the shock on the drivers side and the sway bar bushing snapped on the passengers side. New shocks have been installed and now I'm researching sway bar discos since I aleady "discoed" one side.:ybrick:

I had a girl run into the back of my Tacoma and hit the 2" ball on the hitch. No damage to me, she had a big dent in her hood.

been lurking this forum for a while checking out others T4R's and getting ideas for my own. i am officially addicted to this site :help:

today i had the day off from work and had beautiful weather, so i decided i would take care of some overdue maintenance. basic stuff, nothing real fun but what a difference. installed new NGK plugs and new plug wires, did an oil change, cleaned MAF and throttle body, and cleaned and re-oiled my K&N air filter, and i also checked out the fitment of a free-to-me brushguard(i'll need to fab up some mounts). that'll have to wait until my new bumper gets here. we have a rat population problem in this part of the country(you guys may know them as whitetail deer), and the nose of my runner shows it. :frusty:

tomoro i have a few things i want to do including cleaning the cabin air fan and a thorough spring cleaning of the entire truck, inside and out.

i really appreciate all the knowledge contained in the pages on this forum, amazing what a little reading can do for you. thanks:tea:

I'm selling one, 1999 sr5 It was a chrome one but I wanted it black so I painted it black, has one little dent on side though
