Had the tires swapped from white lettering out to white lettering in. Looks MUCH better, since the white lettering is all torn up from being off road.



I also took a really cool picture of it this morning at work. I thought the water looked awesome with some of my Dad's really expensive wax.

I forgot what it's called. Some shop in lilburn, ga. But my friend told me about him so I went by and showed him shrockworks front and rear bumpers and he said he can do them for half the price of shrockworks. So I'm getting them put on next week!

Please post up the final product. I visit my in-laws in Monroe, GA several times a year and would love a shrockworks replica.

Did all 4 shocks with only a minimal amount of cursing and some assorted woodworking tools to compress the springs. Things are like rockets when the clamps lose grip!

Haha! Love it. And holy shit be careful with those coil compressors. The ones that clamp on top and bottom from the side, those things, I swear, we're sent from China to kill all American mechanics.

Made the decision to retire my beater '97 2WD with the blown head gasket. I hate to sink any more funds into it, when I really want a 4WD. I might keep it around for a hot spare for a while. We had a good run at 215,000 miles together.

Now to begin the hunt for a lower mileage 4WD to mod!

Blue/Grey Wire Mod

Well as it states about, Blue wire mod. Took it out to some soft dirt and hit it in 2wd but locked in. This is going to be allot of fun and now I have more options on the trail. Very happy about it!!!

Ditched my old beatup Flowmaster 40 for a Borla XR-1 22in long #40942, had them run 2.5 in pipe from the cat to the rear. Soooo much better, no in cabin drone at all and it sounds really really good above 4k rpm, especially with the supercharger! Highly recommend to anyone thinking about getting a new muffler.

I'm a week late with this update but last Friday I finally got around to putting in new sway bar bushings. They were pretty worn out and lead to some good vibration when driving down the interstate. I managed to break 3 of the 4 necessary bolts when trying to loosen them! All in all though it was a fairly painless process.

I also got around to washing and waxing it on Saturday and Sunday of this past weekend. Next up...

Pulled the transmission for my clutch job. Turns out the pilot bearing and throw out bearing were shot.

Now hung up on getting the pilot bearing and rear main seal out. Any suggestions?

Right after getting it done I took it out in the field that was just plowed and berried the back almost to the tow hitch. Still pulled right out though with the locker going in 2wd though. All i need now is a lift and some good tires and I will be set.

Finally got my suspension in. Finished up today. Broke a bolt off in the spindle, had to drill/tap, Had to wait on the LBJs from Toyota, and couldnt get the brakelines off and didnt feel like cutting lines, so I had a very interesting time getting the rear springs in.

It looks so goofy on those tires. I'm shoppin' for new shoes now. So not cheap.
