Finally got my trailgear sliders welded and installed a blueseas fusebox

Found a nearly new front door seal and rear ash tray for a staggering $10 while picking a wrecker yard for Tundra calipers. Didn't find them, but I did get them on order, pick them up tomorrow.

Picking is fun, sort of like exploring when you think about it. And if nothing else, it boils down to an excuse to go for a drive tomorrow.

Gonna be changing a front differential seal.
Last time I changed my front driver side cv axle it started leaking afterward. Probably got dirty inside. Hope this is something fairly easy as I have not had to change out any seals on this before.

guess im not gonna change this seal today afterall

toyota part is the same price as aftermarket so I figure I will wait until I can get genuine parts to install, and feel better about it.

sure can it is about double the size of the 3.4 so it hold about a half quart more!

Pulled this rats-nest of wires from behind my dash, any idea of what used to be back there? The previous owner just cut the wires and left them in place.

Did the Outer tie rods, and lower ball joints, then one scary ass drive to the alignment shop, lol! Gonna hit the trails really really soon, and test out my coilovers

I figured either remote start, keyless entry, alarm or some combination of those three.

The truck didn't blow up but it wouldn't start after I got finished. Turns out I just had a bad splice, scared the crap out of me!

Serviced the A/C with new synthetic refrigerant in the T4R, LC, and VW!

Used A/C Pro - big can - $44 - from O'Reilley's.

Installed my Rocky Road Super Sliders today.

I love the heavy duty rail and additional angled tube, but if you buy these, be prepared to add some welding mods. I will add about 3 welded mounts in the near future as the attachment arms are not what you would expect to support/protect during an intense 'event'.

It's still a solid rail just needs the additional attachment.

I drove it to play some ice hockey. And apparently drove it too fast. Wasn't paying attention and got caught going 43 in a 25. July 4th weekend. Of course I get a ticket. $158. :banghead:

Washed and waxed the driveway of Toyotas. That white paint amazes me how nice it comes out each year.

Went to the pick-a-part and found some power outlets out of some camry's and corolla's. Now I have working power in the dash and the cargo area!

Replaced fuel filter.

stretched my outer CV boots a little bit (they're brand new) and put new boot clamps on. Did that because the bellows were rubbing pretty bad. Also found the culprit of another noise whilst under there. Dust shield needed more trimming and bending behind the rotor after Tundra brake upgrade. Also found another item I was glad to find. Noticed a small puddle of yum-yum under my rear axle. Had the Runner at a "reputable" mechanic shop for an inspection before our annual road trip on Friday. The yahoos checked the rear diff and didn't tighten the fill plug all the way. Good thing I caught that. They'll be getting a phone call on the morrow. Also installed a rocker switch for a manual power antenna control. Now I can has tunes on the trail without risking my antenna -
