Thanks brother. That's my next little project I think, I want the floor to be well lit. Thinking of going red on the floor.

got the front end completely finished! bled the brakes and threw the wheels and tires on. she sits kinda tall for my taste. frame height is t 29.5" but thats on new springs and i still have a bumper and winch to put on. the rear is about the same but thats minus my full size spare, tire carrier and gear. i'm hoping it settles to around 25-26ish. this is on 5" springs. i also have a set of 4" leafs so i might throw them on if it doesn't come down to where i want it but we'll see.

yeah i was gonna start a build thread but i'm so far along into the build. i'll probably start a timeline thread once i can get all my pics transferred onto my computer.

it is sitting waaay too tall! that 29.5" frame height it's at right now is pretty close to what i estimated it would be before spring break in, spare tire, gear, winch and bumper. i do have a set of 4" leafs though. i do plan on running 39.5's on Trail Ready beadlocks so i'm gonna see how much she settles down.

i still have to do my t-case skid, sliders, and front bumper plus all the little tweaks and fine tuning that comes with an axle swap so it'll be at least a couple more weeks till it's rolling. my bender is collecting dust so it's time to put it to work!

lol!!! i know. when i put the wheels/tires on i was thinking, "holy s*** that was close!". getting new 30'x80' steel frame shop built next year! won't have to worry with 16' doors.

Threw on new Brembo blanks and Wagner ceramic pads. I was tired of the truck giving me seizures every time I applied the brakes. Man night and day. I had forgotten what brakes felt like.

Maintenance over Mods

Not exactly today but the later part of last week: Replaced seals and Tbelt; tightened alternator belt and had tensioner replaced. Picked up a fuse box cover from local junkyard.

Now I've discovered a small crack on the tbelt cover and will be headed back to the junkyard to pull one. Need to replace valve covers or tighten bolts first and then reconsider.

Hopefully have it where I want it by the end of next month after not doing much to it recently. Cheers! :thumb3:

Disabled DRL's, and then broke one of 2 screws that hold on my bug shield. :dammit: And then bought 2 (different sized) replacements and neither of them are the right size.

99 limited, replaced tranny mount, installed aux. radio interface to play iPod on the stereo, replaced red rubber cover over positive battery cable.

I replaced mine last year too, and the drivers side is already seeping again. I also replaced my T-Case output shaft seal last year and it's already seeping again. You have no idea how much the littlest leaks bother me.

I despise all leaks.

My front diff seal is leaking from the last change and I hate it. Just need to order the new seal from Toyota.

Also leaking power steering (tranny) fluid from the input shaft. Which doesn't bother me too much because I can easily refill. I just don't like marking my territory everywhere I park.

Shouldn't they be relatively new gaskets since the shop took the valve covers off to work on your heads?
