I replaced mine last year too, and the drivers side is already seeping again. I also replaced my T-Case output shaft seal last year and it's already seeping again. You have no idea how much the littlest leaks bother me.

I'm with you there.

Shouldn't they be relatively new gaskets since the shop took the valve covers off to work on your heads?

I highly doubt that s***** shop replaced those gaskets.

Picked up a couple of cheap voltmeters off of eBay and installed them. It's great to be able to know what the status is of your charging system and batteries are at a glance!

That and I finally did my LCA bushings and got a much needed alignment!

My son and I put a new return line on the power steering and flushed the system. Had a hard time finding a replacement for the piece of steel line where it goes into the steering rack, ended up calling the dealership and eventually he found it. Back in business. Next is a new set of tall rear coils to get rid of the rear sag.

I just put on a set of lexus lx450 wheels I got locally about 60 miles away here in socal. Only bad thing is theyre chrome.

Now I have almost a brand new set of Bridgestone Duelers H/T Alenza mounted on my stock 4runner wheels just sitting lol. but I couldnt wait to put them on..





The trd offroad tacoma is my step dads. He's been bugging me to set up a family trip through the 138 mile offroad mojave trail.

Valve Cover Gasket change, I'm glad that one is over with. I also noticed some antifreeze leaking around the water pump. I guess I'll be doing a timing belt and water pump change in the near future. :cry2:
