What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Finished the trans cooler install this morning.. One less T4R that will succumb to the Pink Milkshake!

I also completed spraying Eastwood Internal Frame spray throughout the undercarriage. Coupled with the POR15 on the external part of the frame, I'm thinking I should be good from the rust that killed my Tacoma.

So, in summary, I was able to complete these maintenance/upgrades this weekend;
-extend rear diff breathing tube
-install B&M 70264 with inline filter
-change diff and transfer case fluids to Mobile 1 synthetic
-spray Eastwood Internal Frame paint throughout the entire undercarriage.
-hook up the Scangauge 2 with trans temp added.

I need another paycheck or two and I'll upgrade to Tundra brakes

Today I finally did my satoshi mod. It only took me all summer to finally get around to it. I'm very happy with the results. I need to find a sweet toyota emblem for the from. Any ideas??? I sort of like most all of the land cruiser ones but iI'm not sold yet.

dedicated power line from battery for cb radio

ran pos and neg wires from battery to direct connect cb radio. tapped into cig lighter night before but seemed to be electric noise spillover. read direct to battery eliminates this and I decided I wanted an unswitched/always on power source. took pics of tranny cooler install

still got a little work to do like tie the the horizontal tubes together and some reinforcements to the frame but i think it came out ok for a bunch of steel collecting dust!
