What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed my Spartan locker, only to button everything up and realize that it wont unlock, at all!
After doing lots of reading and interweb scouring it looks like i was supposed to remove some shims behind the side gears, anyone with any insight into this?

there are a few to choose from! i found that part number for about $50.

ya the graphic is actually just a sticker that you put on the top of the cap after its tight so you can position it however you want. Everything showing that part number will fit.

Right around $50 is retail.

is the sticker separate from the cap?

Because where it mounts to the frame was broken. I have all the parts on order and will reinstall when they come in.

Oh yeah do you have a gap in the middle of the locker. Should be about 1/16 to 1/8" gap

Well its a fair question and people do remove it for different reasons. I'm not trying to derail the thread but I am curious if it was a permanent change or just for the weekend.

sequoia brake upgrade. used calipers $100, cylinder service kit $12 , new oem rotors $136 delivered, speed bleeders $20. dremel made an ouch on my forearm.
