Finished wiring my air compressor and running the air line, taking it to the shop in a bit to get the air locker installed, front end aligned, and the full size 265/75r spare mounted.

What brand did you go with?

OEM, I thought of going with an aftermarket, but I had to buy some other parts anyways so I just went with the OEM. They are only about $27 online so it's not that bad of a buy.

Installed brand new power antenna assembly on the dealership's dime.

The salesperson mentioned several times during the test drive that fixing the non-working power antenna would be an easy fix before I signed the paperwork.

At delivery, it wasn't touched. Toyota Motor Sales, USA passed my frustration on to the dealer and got me the part and an additional keyfob.

Now to focus on the rear axle bearing and welding the rear frame where it's rusted through...

Not all today, but in the last week...

Oil and filter change.

Freshened up my skid plates and re-painted them black.

Plasti-dipped this and that to freshen a few things up. Mainly trim and roof rack bits.

Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, power steering belt, AC belt, alternator belt, associated seals/gaskets/tensioner.

New shifter bushings. Feels soooo much better.

Fixed my drivers side lean. 1/4" Toytec top plate spacer front and 10 mm OME trim spacer rear.

New wheels. SCS F-5's in Matte Jet Black. Went with the 4.5" BS. Was really a pleasure dealing with Vin at SCS. A really great guy and VERY responsive.

Bit of a makeover for the Runner. I am planning on keeping her around a bit longer so I decided to invest a little in her.

Need to clean up her up and I will post some pics with the new wheels.

had one of my Xenon bulbs go out on the way to work this morning. Stop at the gas station to grab a drink and take a quick look, and just leave and figure I'd look at once I got to work. 15 seconds later I get pulled over for having the headlight out. I work 3.5 miles from the house, I couldn't believe I got pulled over so quick. It wasn't even out for 10 minutes!

got to work and figured out it was a bad ballast. Even though I silicone'd it really well, it still filled with water. Luckily, working for Infiniti, there's several spares laying around.

Gave my 01 T4R a much needed tune-up today and to my horror the plugs that I took out were:barf:champion singles. I only use champion plugs in my lawn mower and weed eater. The 1st and original owner apparently went with the el cheapo tune-up at one time before I bought her. I replaced the chump-ions with the NGKs and also added a new set of NGK wires. WOW what a huge difference. The idle is so smooth and it has a bit more pep on the hills. I wish all tune-ups were this easy.Took me 45mins tops.

Only certain spark plugs work well in our 4Runners. This is a reoccurring topic here but the consensus is very strong on this one. If you do a thread search for words "spark plugs" you will see what I mean.

I know, everyone runs NGK's or Denso's. But the CP's run perfectly fine in my rig.

Glad to hear it. I know this sounds well lol but maybe it will run better with NKG or Denso. I have only run OEM (so i don't know) but a lot of posts seem to say their 4runner ran better with OEM.
