Went to harbor freight and picked these up and installed them, not too shabby for 9 bucks

70264, CPI 2550 & mudflaps

busy day...
B&M 70264 - no worries now... - 165K and going strong.
bought the mudflaps here a while back - they were glossy black & one of the mounting pieces was broken off. 200 grit/400 grit wet dry made them nice and matte. Hot glued on anuther piece works ok so far.
The inverter is great for drill & coffee maker : )

My PS pulley seemed to be catching, I was getting bad vibes at slow speeds. I had the Wife turn the wheel and I could see the pulley stop/hesitate. I figured it was from mud/debris from my recent off roading trip. I sprayed some Fluid Film in/around the pulley seems to have helped. I didn't see any signs of leaking fluid and level was good in res.

installed front mudflaps. removed green covers from climate control bulbs. looked for and found transfer case breather. Doesn't seem to be unscrewable like rear one, so not sure how I'll add extension tube. Scraped dried mud stuck on inside rear rims, see if it reduces a recent highway wobble shimmy.
Last weekend:
checked torque of crankshaft pulley bolt. Fabricated pulley holding tool, loaner torque wrench from autozone (was spot on, i checked it with my digital torque adapter http://www.alltradetools.com/catalo...joints/642-940758-digital-torque-adapter.html). Loosened bolt a bit, retightened to 220 ft/lbs. peace of mind. adjusted belt tension.
all set to replace rear brake shoes but current ones are plenty thick. Some grease/fluid contamination on pad and in drum. Disassembled, blasted with brake cleaner, scuffed pads with red garnet sand paper (no oxides), reassembled. think it was residual fluid from seal replacement 2.5 years ago at dealer. hoping mechanic did a sloppy clean up vs new seal leak. all seems well (jinx 1,2,3). seals dry, no sign of leak. drained and refilled rear diff. fluid looked good. amount that came out matched amount of refill, so good sign re no seal leak (jinx 1,2,3).
Checked driveshaft slide yokes, saw reassuring sign of new grease (been pumping it through for a couple of months), making its way through. seals seem to be unclogging. Huge difference shifting D to R and P to D/R, no thunk. U-joints took new grease easy.
Still hunting down small vibration/resonance around 2400-2600 rpms. think its up front @ engine. loose trim? fan shroud? WHERE IS IT? WTF is IT? Just want to know if it is serious, a sign of imminent disaster. it is the Moby Dick to my Ahab. It will be hunted down, harpooned, dragged from the depths, and rendered into oblivion.

CRAP!!! I know what happened now... You were testing us!!!! You decided to put Helium in the tank instead of gasoline.. and "wala" she decided to float around.. :clap2::drum:

Removed my URD decal, replaced it with a decal from ToyTec Lifts . I am happy with this change.

I will take a better picture tomorrow.
