Niiiice and toasty; shackle mounts (thanks to Levent @ Trackdecal.com - Road Course Decals and Motorsports Graphics); 3/4" D-Rings (Do-It-Best catalog); Daystar Isolators; Rugged Ridge receiver shackle bracket; Warn 3" x 30' premium recovery strap.

Just to clarify, this was no fight. There was no animosity. I took the style of his post, with the multiple question marks and exclamation points, as humorous. Neither of us was criticizing or attacking the other. hec983 didn't say cloth sucks and I didn't say leather sucks. We were each expressing positive opinions about our respective upholstery materials. It was a brief light hearted exchange. I deliberately did not list my negatives about the leather which prompted me to make the switch.
I respectfully ask you to consider that you may have mistakenly interpreted the tone of our brief exchange. I was chuckling as I read what he said and I was chuckling as I composed my reply.

All you guys washing and waxing your 4Runner's... you realize it's January right? A nippy -11F wind chill here today. This has pretty much been the norm this winter. -49F wind chills a few weeks back. Probably going to close schools again on Monday due to windchills expected to be close to -30F.

Anyways.. only thing I've done to my 4Runner lately is contemplat getting rid of it. Was thinking about trading it in on a new 4 door Tacoma shortbed... but decided I didn't want to eat Ramen everday, and my two little girls don't like Ramen in the first place... sooo.. that wouldn't work.

Today I decided to make myself like it again. Going to buy carpet to replace the ruined carpet currently in it. Buy some WeatherTech mats. Buy some Wet Okole seat covers. Goal.. make it not look like a used 14 year old vehicle inside. Also going to replace the Performance Product springs, as I'm tired of being beat to death on my drive everyday... this has been the main reason for wanting to get rid of it. I hate the ride that much.
