Wanted to practice painting so I decided to go ham on my mirrors.

[MENTION=87712]MR.H[/MENTION] how did you get the mirrors that far apart? I had the spring come loose in one of my mirrors and couldn't get it apart to fix it.

Taped it off. Wet sanded with 1500 grit for about 5 minutes each, cleaned it up with windex, then (sterile) alcohol. Took off the tape then re-taped. let them sit in the sun for an hour when it was 80 degrees (doesn't have to be that hot) out. Then 2-3 coats of "VHT night shade with about 30 minutes in between. Let them dry for two hours. Wet sanded again with the 1500 grit, cleaned them up with the above method, then let them dry in the sun then 3 coats of rattle can clear coat. Krylon I believe.

New inner tie rods, outer tie rods, lower ball joints and 3/4" top plate spacers in the front. Off to get a much needed alignment!

Trying to install my lift. Can't get the front struts to go on, no matter what I try. Tundra TRD with 5100s. Also can't get the driver's side tie rod end to come off. It's been a long day so far. :frusty:

Today i actually replaced my power antenna cause it was gone when i bought the motor still works great and now the antenna does what its supposed to. Only issue is it still has crappy signal.
