Do you have any details on how you wired these up? I have some and have been looking for a way to wire up to a switch and when the trucks in reverse.

Looks great, I would like to do a some lights back there as well. Just looks like a vulnerable location for a steep departure angle or dropping off a small ledge.

They definitely look plenty bright for reverse lights - I like it.

If you look through the first couple pages of my build, I installed some in my bumper...plenty bright and doesn't interfere with departure angles.

Today was a productive day! After work I went to farm and fleet and picked up some eye hooks and some turn buckles so that I could secure my cargo box. It isn't going any where now!!

I also got my new sub. I needed one that was small enough to be hidden behind the seat in the small forward cubby in my box. I ended up choosing the kenwood KSC-SW11 which is an ultra low profile powered sub. It's dimensions were 11x9x3 so I knew it would fit in the cubby and I hoped I would be able to stand it on end so that I could still use the area for storage space. I won't get into a full review here, but THIS THING IS PERFECT!!! It fit vertically and has amazing sound quality. Total install time was only 30 min on top of that!

I installed a Sonoran Steel panhard bar (if you have a lift, you should get one of these....drives like a dream), removed the broken power antenna and replaced it with a black Tacoma whip antenna, and installed a Sonoran Steel emergency brake relocation bracket.

Oh, and I gave away all my old suspension parts to a nice gent who showed up in a 234k 2000 4Runner with a 5spd. I invited him to join this forum.

The places and way I go offroad with my 4r those would be gone the first ditch that I cross.

I forget how big of a pain in the ass removing a cv by yourself is. Changed out a leaky front passenger diff seal tonight. No pics, just a bunch of oil and sweat. Also discovered a new front passenger wheel bearing is in my future, ugh..

Upgraded to HID headlights, changed all the stock green dash lights to LED blue, installed backup assist lights for the camera and installed fog lights. I need lighting intervention. I want more more more.

Figured out to turn on the RS3200+ alarm system, finally got the emissions done (passed with flying colors), and ordered a practically new cargo cover off eBay on a "Make an offer" bid knocking the asking price down $50. Also ordered a new rear seal, o-ring, and outer seal for my RR wheel.

What brand pads and rotor did you go with?

The rotor is Meyle (German made, RockAuto AZ Carry them) and pad is OEM

An alternative spot for reverse lights is on the roof basket under the highest bar, look under the end cap on the roof rack rail for a no-drill-through-the-roof access spot. You would need to drill a hole in the end cap though.

It'll be interesting to see what you come up with.

Found a couple of spare pins in the washer switch (out of a 2nd gen) that fit the rr dif lock switch. Put them in and wired it to my power outlet light so it'd work with the dimmer.

Installed VSS so I have an always working speedo again after my manual hub swap.

(no, I was not finished tucking everything up yet...and that's one filthy truck under there)
