What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

What did I do to my 3G? Nothing..... but the dealer did plenty....

Replaced rear transfer case seal
Replaced rear pinion seal
Fuel injector service.
Replaced Valve cover gaskets(had a bad leak)
Replace and re pack both torn front Boots
Rotate my Duratracs
Oil Change..

Next up.... 2nd timing belt and water pump.

Replaced my turn signal flasher with an EP 35 Flasher to cure my hyperflash from LED signals. Easy peasy.

Yes.. The "yellow" is Amber. See my pics posted before for confirmation. They are good amber color.

Is the antenna cutoff switch because your Kenwood doesn't work with the factory antenna properly?

I had that problem when I was running a Kenwood with my 97

yep. I was opposed to adding the switch at first but it looks clean enough. I took the switch and placement idea from someone here on the forum. It took me less time to install the switch than it did the kenwood.

I weighed the kenwood against the Alpine that you recommended but I was looking for multiple USB inputs and not many head units have them. The Kenwood has a few quirks and the controls are a little fussy but it's waaay better than what I had. Overall I'm happy.

I thought that switch was to turn of the jammer. I have a buddy who had to install a switch like that works pretty good too... I have an Alpine radio. So far I'm good with antenna system. I do hate that silly GPS antenna for the SAT radio.. just looks funny.
