Got super sick with front suspension lol... Well until I realized my rear lower shock mounts on the billsteins needed to be replaced before install..
Specs. Front tundra billies, with toytec coil 2nd perch. 265/75 tires.
Rear will get 890 coils with billsteins after I get correct buahings
Energy suspension steering rack bushing half way in. Getting the old ones out wasnt too band. The driver side one I simply grabbed the outer metal part of the bushing with adjustable pliers and twisted it back and forth and it worked its way out. The center one was more annoying. I put the bolt from the passenger side clamp through it from the top and used the adjustable pliers again to put down on the bolt head as suggested here: 02 Steering Rack Bushing Replacment
Gas tank waiting for a new piece of hose since I had to cut the old you to get it out. Doing the fuel gauge TSB.
New fuel suction bracket and sending unit.
Then the lower ball joints, inner tie rods, outer tie rods. You can see how badly the boot is torn open. The lbj boot is torn too.
Still on the to do list:
valve cover gaskets
cam plugs
pcv valve
clean TB
clean MAF
radiator and hoses
vacuum hoses
grease driveshaft
swaybar bushings
steering guide
figure out how the hell to get the mangled grab handle screws out so I can route a bluetooth mic wire.

This will sound a little fruity but I have to say I really like your garage. Nice color walls, pictures hanging up, a nice rug lol. I wouldn't mind doing mine up like that, my garage was built with insulated walls/ceiling, natural gas heater, sink, tv hookup and room for a couple couches even, but I dont really use the space much. Wish I could afford to get professional epoxy/polyurethane flooring done but it's 1100 sq/ft... would cost more than my 4runner is worth.

I just removed a "dead spider in the headlight" mod the other day. It wasn't providing the upgrade I was promised.

Today I took it to a garage and later found out that it needs plug wires so might as well change my leaky valve cover gaskets all together $485 ouch but worth it in my opinion I love my 4runner

you know these upgrades seem like a cool mod at the time, but over time they lose their luster....
did you have to bake your headlight to get the spider out?
i think i may have to buy a WHOLE NEW CAR!! this pretty much ruins everything

Not fruity at all. That garage is for that red toyota in the back ground. Only moved it to detail the truck. The car usually lives in the garage. The rug lol is so I don't have to lay on the cold concrete. What you don't see behind the 4runner is a full size 8.5ft table and a separate space for my big shelves and snap on box. The garage has plenty of room. I spend more time in it then the rest of the home.
The water heater and a/c unit are in the attic.

Our Man Cave is nearly 1500 sq/ft. We did the epoxy/polyurethane flooring for less than $800, color flakes included. We did it ourselves. You need to shop around and ask for a discount. We received a discount equal to a professional contractor because of the quantity we ordered. Just FYI...
I think I'd rather have a pro do it after reading threads on garagejournal. I have some spawling and a bunch of rust and oil stains. It would take a lot of prep work. Not too keen on having to mess around with acids and stuff. Maybe I will do an acrylic sealer for now, but they say it only lasts about a year.

Just pulled the headlight and had to use a pick tool to get all the body parts unstuck then a little compressed air to get the bastard out. The bastard crawled in there through the vent tube where the little sponge screen thing was missing.

Dude, do you have my clone? I literally just did almost everything you are working on over the past month or so as I had spare time. I haven't done the steering rack bushings yet though, I have the parts but waiting to see how it feels with everything else before I put them on.
Let me know if you need any tips, looks like you've got a good handle on things though. You're going to LOVE your 4Runner once you finish (don't forget the alignment!).
So replacing my fuel sender didn't fix my gauge even though the VIN fell in the sender-only range of the TSB.
I have looked at the cluster and dash wires before for anything burnt and never found anything. It never occurred to me to look at the BACK of circuit board though so I pulled out the cluster and looked at the back of it and low and behold (bottom of the board)...
After years of this bugging me I finally found it.

If you have the parts you might as well do it. Mine looked fine but I propped my phone under the truck and recorded the rack while I turned the wheel and there was quite a bit of play. All I needed was adjustable pliers to get them out, and an 8" c-clamp to push the new ones in. Didn't have to disconnect the outer tie rod like it says to do in the instructions. Was easier than I expected, and gives me confidence to tackle the other stuff. The only thing I've done before this was just fluid changes and spark plugs, having a lot of fun.
Actually the middle bolt took forever because I only had room to turn it like 1/20 of a turn at a time with the ratchet.

Now you are going to make me take apart my dash. For me using the AC will make the gauge ready correctly half of the time. Keep us updated.

Refinished my wheels. They were really scuffed when I got them. So after 3 years of sheer laziness I decided to paint them black. Then when I went to get the paint and supplies I noticed an awesome color called CHAMPAGNE MIST and figured I could do black wheels like everyone else in my area does on EVERYTHING, or WTF, bronze would be RAD. Besides I can always redo them black again if I hate it. 3 days later and I am pretty stoked how they turned out.
