Just started the swap to all LED lighting. Started with the side marker lights, and interior dome light. Definitely like it.

I'm going to brag a little and tell you this is my first carpentry project ever. Thanks to the members here for the inspiration and and google for all the answers. Hoping to inspire others, as i'm beyond happy with how it turned out. I'll post a build thread with dimensions soon.

So replacing my fuel sender didn't fix my gauge even though the VIN fell in the sender-only range of the TSB.
I have looked at the cluster and dash wires before for anything burnt and never found anything. It never occurred to me to look at the BACK of circuit board though so I pulled out the cluster and looked at the back of it and low and behold (bottom of the board)...
After years of this bugging me I finally found it.
New inductor soldered on where it burned out and it works again!! (hard to see)

Got an unbubbled backer from another cluster:
Fixed for now with an estimated idle position, but I need to get an OBDII and get the precise rpm and re-do the needle position when I have time.

greased drive shaft, messy. The old grease that seeped out of the u joints smelled terrible.

Had her up on a lift today, changed out the Fuel Filter.
Eyeballed and wiped down as I went.
CRC'd all the connections that will be needed when I put in the Toytec Ult lift. Man I'm scared of the back shocks removal and replace, how am I going to get to the top nut of the shock?
Tranny filter next, so I'll check look at it again then.

That must be a good feeling to have a working gas gauge again. Sometimes the DIY little fixes/mods are the best.
Elocker housing, rusty but trusty! Ya gotta love scalers, they are a huge time saver. I think I gave $20 bucks for the thing a few years ago at a Northern Black Friday sale and it just keeps on working.
The housing survived the scaler test and proves to be in better condition than I anticipated. I still have much for work to do on it. I have no plans for use as of right now but I thought I would clean it up for paint in case I end up selling it or throwing it in another 3rd Gen down the road.

Install Airaid Jr intake, clean the maf and pulled the efi fuse.
