What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Sunday i ordered my OME lift kit for Toytec:bravo:. But the rear OME shocks are back order for 1-2 weeks:shrug:. Oh well guess I wikk have to wait for those.

Both of my screws had been stripped at some point in the past, but I was able to get one loose enough to work.

I had just enough room to get the cord most of the way under, except for a little bit. Pretty much unnoticeable.

If you can get a little bit of play between the panel and the body, you can slowly work it under.

One of my phillips heads stripped too. I ended up drilling off the head, and once the handle came off there was enough of a nub to grab on with a pair of vice grips and spin off. Then I got some bolts at the hardware store and they went in easy as pie. You could probably get away with new phillips or allen head screws as I think the problem was the loctite on the factory screws that turned to concrete.

[MENTION=113822]LookAtThatDog[/MENTION] I installed an Alpine bluetooth deck and I've been told my bluetooth sounds crystal clear. My mic is mounted next to the sunglass/garage opener holder. I also installed new weather stripping on my driver door (which is so tight I have to slam the door to get it to latch) so that may help.

Ok thanks for the info. I contemplated doing this exact thing, but #1 it was a little late at night for powertools in the basement right below where family was sleeping and #2 I was worried there wouldn't be enough nub to grip on to once the heads of screws were drilled off. Thanks, I may try this.

Thanks buddy, another member turned me on to these and just installed them yesterday. These are NOT an exact fit right out of the box and require a little trimmimg with a Dremel or even better was a sharp, heavy utility knife. Once trimmed properly these things fit almost perfectly and look original not like a do-it-yourself job at all and the price can't be beat.

I just put them on and they feel sturdy as a rock but I can't testify for their durability or long term performance. In addition to the screws I used the super HD 3M double sided tape anywhere that made contact and they don't budge at all. I hope they hold up for a while at least and I'll be a happy camper - the 33's throw mud like crazy.

Built a shift knob. First time using a lathe. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for all the info, just took my running boards off and already see little scratches from some minor off roading. Gonna check out some junkyards for mudflaps but if no luckk there im for sure gonna try the ones that you have. Thanks again!

While the Rotopax spare tire mount was designed for a jeep, if you off-set it a bit, it stays on 2 lugs and is still pinned down by the wheel (it's just not level) still an awesome setup for White Rim. .. I have 2 2 gallon rotopax fuel cans on the way
