Well today we did supercharger things. It had been making some noise for a while now and the case bearings need to be done. It was a pain but now that I have done it I know how to do it in the future so that's good.

Then found some fr-s guys to park by lol. The blue one is sweet with a bunch of tunable aero done to it.

Finally put some time into my insulation project, making careful preparations for a dedicated thread on here later on this month as requested by [MENTION=65101]BrianSD_42[/MENTION]. Since I've also replaced the carpet I may combine the threads for those looking for new carpet.

I finally got my closed cell foam in to replace most of the jute underlayment except in the cargo area.

Once I had the fat mat down and all seams sealed (over-kill I'm sure) but I have OCD. IT would kill me to know I left a gap somewhere! It was time to cut the foam and begin the install. BTW have you guys seen the video with the guy using a plain straight razor to trim his carpet. Seriously??

Anyone see the gap in the seam in the foam pieces on the wheel well...damn that's killing me! Anyway, meticulously cut the foam to fit and used 3M 90 spray adhesive. Here's a photo of the layers in the cargo area;

Will finish up the rest of the "small stuff" today but will leave the side panels off. I'm drawing up my schematics for a true sine wave inverter with bus bar, fuses etc and I want to do it right with minimum voltage drop, right AWG wire, perfect location, etc....

Did change out the battery and as you can see I have a few other projects to do, replacing some weather stripping and rebuilding my SC one of these days. Not in a big hurry. Oh yea, finished up the cup mod.

Installed new headlight bulbs, wipers & JDM Hilux Surf clear corners. Adjusted drivers side headlamp that was pointing low. Pulled grill off to change emblem from Gold to Chrome. WD 40'd all bolts that will be coming off soon. Skid Plate, running boards, LBJ's & UCA's.

I just ordered my front bumper from Roy. I agree he is a solid dude. I read alot of positive things about him and Savage products before i called him to place my order. His rear bumper and skids is next on my list.

Washed my trucks today. This is the first time i had all 3 in the driveway at one time so i had to snap some pics. My neighbor told me I have too many toyotas, i replied "You can never have too many toyotas!" Lol. I'm looking for a mid to late 90's landcruiser with factory lockers to buy next.

They look real good. What brand did you go with for lights and brackets? How was the wiring install? Difficult or no?

CBI ditch light brackets and (Lamphus Cruizer?) lights, they have been lying around the garage for the last couple years, they just seem like a Chinese variant, I bought them off of Amazon, but looks like you can only get them from an led site store now.

The install itself was easy, I would recommend 2 people, so one can hold the hood while you install the mount on either side. I was alone, I was done in under an hour.

Wiring hasn't been done yet, but should be a fairly quick affair. I'll wire the lights into a switch in the dash and back to the Blue Sea fuse box I have in the engine bay. I would rate this an easy to moderate install. Loosening the fenders and lining them back up took a few minutes.
