Just installed my Toytec diff drop. I can definitely see the extra space between the CV boot splines compared to without the drop. Now to see if it affected my front end vibes at all...

I gave my glove box light for the first time in 18 years. The kicker is that in order for the light to work you have to turn on the corner markers.
Don't ask me why.

Finally got around to unwrapping and painting my new bumper. Removed the stock bumper. Plan on mounting the new one this weekend.

Ordered my 5100's to go with my 890/906's I got off the classifieds a week or so ago. Finally going to get around to replacing the desperately worn out original equipment at 185(more like 186)K.

Soon to be ordered is a engine and supercharger tune up package to get the newer motor up to snuff and the charger good for another 100k before I start a built motor build with the second motor I have.

Got ya beat. My suspension was all OE at 218k. Shocks, springs, tie rods, ball joints, etc.

Took my 4Runner to the shop again today. I believe my power steering pump is going out. It's making a whinning noise but stops when I turn the wheels.
When I had the TB replaced, I think the belt is too tight. I unfortunately shipped all my tools out yesterday (to my new duty station) so I have to take to my "go to" shop Midas to have them look at it. I or they couldn't make it make the whining noise again today. They agree the belts are too tight and the PS fluid is thin and milky. They are going to adjust the belts and change our the fluid for $100. Not too bad for an hour labor and materials. I think when I was sitting yesterday at in the parking lot for 30 min in 92 degree heat, the PS fluid could have gotten thin and causing the noise. When I started it today, no noise.

We'll see how it sounds later today when it heats up.

Try using a 50/50 mix of ATF and diesel fuel.

I use acetone and atf. Beats the heck out of any store bought penetrant.

Finished up the front doors with new Infinity Reference speakers, sound deadening and foam courtesy of RAAM mat and a new amp. Sounds soo much better already! Now on to the rear doors and the cargo area when I have more time.
