Interesting touch on the gauge needles. What kind of paint did you use and how did you get the orange off first? I think I like the icicle look more than the stock carrot-stick look.
 
Ordered some parts for it.
Have 8 wraps and 5100's already and just ordered some extended rear breaklines.
Also ordered grill/emblem/mesh for a satoshi grill mod. Pictures coming soon
 
I mounted a set of 16" Level 8 Gunmetal Gray MK6 wheels on her this past weekend. Look 10X better now

Finally getting around to addressing the stereo. installed a new head unit to the amp/speakers that came with the truck. Doesn't really sound any better but at least the new deck isn't flaky and I can actually work the controls. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do for the rest...
 
Just ordered a Walker Quietflow muffler + gaskets and Denso spark plug wires from Rock Auto, took advantage of the 5% discount code posted on their vendor forum.

Got up and installed a new alternator before going to work. The old one failed on the way home last night and I was able to limp home.

After 248,940 miles, I figured the old one didn't owe me anything. My march to 250,000 continues.
 
Before leaving my house for work this morning I called her baby and slapped that ass cause im going to be all up in that this afternoon.
 
was looking underneath the truck and noticed both my inner CV boots were ripped and got the grease everywhere...i know as long as i dont offroad her I can drive it for a while...
thinking of just getting the napa brand remans to put on and calling it a day...also since my bilsteins are on the 2nd perch from bottom i think im gonna put them down to the bottom perch...guess 14 year old rubber combined with a 3" lift made this inevitable, regardless of the diff. drop

Went to a garage to have look under it, and found my power steering is leaking badly :( oh well it was still the original part from 15 years ago so yes xD going to the auopart right now to go get a remplacement part :x
