I had to leave halfway through the rear axle to go buy 6 ton jackstands because I couldn't articulate the axle enough with my 3 ton ones. I didn't have to deal with rusted shocks thankfully, my truck has no rust and the shocks were replaced with stock equivalents about 40k miles ago.

Haha I had some trailer stands that were a little taller than my 3ton. A block of 2x4 gave me enough lift. I have to redo my passenger front it is hitting at full droop. I am using the compresssorless method it was a pain with toytec coils.

I had the fully assembled Boss coilovers so it wasn't bad. I loosened the upper A arm to get it to droop more and then put my bottle jack on the upper ball joint nut and inner fender. Got everything to line up pretty quickly that way.

Cleaned up my accessory power setup with a new fuse box install.
Tidied up the battery wiring and terminal setup at the same time. So much room for activities now!

Drove it to the dealership so the wife could test drive a trail premium, which I'm hoping she decides to get, then we drove a highlander and I didn't like it at all, but she does as it has the blu Ray player and automatic lift gate. She asked about resell value of the Toyota's, and the sales lady looked at mine and said she could get an easy 8-10k out of my 97 runner. Boy my wife's eyes lit up and said for that piece crap...wtf. Said I should just trade mine in, instead of her honda Odyssey. I don't think so woman.
Be prepared for the drain plug to be stripped. Mine stripped out with the proper sized socket, heat and a breaker bar. Just buy yourself a $6 harbor freight pump to siphon out the fluid and then re-fill from the fill plug.
Pain in the ass, but from what I heard at the dealership, it's pretty common. They wanted $200 to remove my stripped plug after telling me they "replace them all the time" at the parts counter.:shocked:

Not bad at all if you have a parts grabber tool to help pull the wires through tight spots. Haven't driven it much with the pods installed but it didnt really hinder any of my daily driving maneuvers in the brief stint I did drive it. Hope this helps.
