I haven't mounted the tire swing out or put my CB antenna back on yet but I just mounted the Shrockworks rear bumper last night. Plates are 3/16" HPR&O Steel.

Though part numbers were different and the case is a tiny bit different the guts were the same. Mostly I was just messing around because I can. There isn't much to it:
And the answer to my question inspired by a thread posted on T4R some time ago is yes, if you put the antenna motor cover (part with the magnets) on backwards the motor will run opposite what it's supposed to. down instead of up, up instead of down. Curiosity placated.
Also just a little note since the 99's antenna mast would make that horrid sound of slipping antenna track and it would run several seconds longer than it was supposed to even with a good oem mast. Turned out the c-shaped part of the plastic at the center of the gear in the top left-hand corner of the first picture had broken so the needed resistance wasn't there to tell the motor to quit when it was supposed to.
Just another possibility besides wrong-thickness mast tracks.

Picked up a Louisville Slugger at a garage sale for a $1. Promptly did the Slugger mod and "Installed" it in the back. Figured I might want it should I need to play ball.....with someone's head.
I replaced the radiator with an OEM radiator, got a new cooling fan, fan shroud, and fan clutch. The cooling fan broke after the fan clutch seized up, causing the fan blades to destroy the radiator and the fan shroud. After way too many hours, a few broken bolts (previous owner..), and many swear words, I was finished.

Great tip about the flanges. I ordered a pair of these from Amazon yesterday and will have the same problem on my 99 4runner.

I've also got a misfire on #2. New plugs and cables didn't help. I'm going test the coils by switching #2 with the one next to it, but I've already bought a new fuel injector figuring I'm going to have to replace it.
It is an adhesive sound deadening material. Sold at Lowes/Home Depot I believe.
It's good for a budget material, but there are biased people like me, who use other stuff
etc.

I've used the Home Depot stuff in the past. It's ok. I'll soon be tearing it out to replace with the good stuff.
