I came close to selling my 4runner several months back for an IS300 to make a toy out of/daily driver. Came to my senses and liked my 4runner too much.

Well, today I made the transaction for a decently built 700 hp IS300 for a daily/mixed duty driver with my 4runner. Now I can take my time wrenching on the 4runner/swapping engine's this weekend.

Last night I installed LED interior lights. They are much brighter than the little bulbs and look really nice. I will get a few pics tonight when I finish installing the rest of the lights.

New stereo. Sounds good. Already has after market speakers. Hand wired install 20 minutes.

One headlight sorta done,forgot to run the internal wiring for the highbeam solenoid :ybrick: It'll have to wait another day. Still too sunny to be 100% sure but it looks like I have the rotation/aim pretty much where it should be.

Installed an amp under my back seat took out the jack
and cut away the metal.

Made a list of things I'd like to buy to upgrade my 'Runner with prices. Unsure of what bumpers/sliders I want to get, so those aren't in there yet. Still looking at almost $3000

Changed my manual transmission fluid from Redline GL4 to Amsoil Severe Gear, blend of 75W90 and 75W110 GL5 and so far even smoother IMO! Replaced my PVC valve and grommet, was a piece of cake to get the grommet out and switched from my winter Hankooks to new shoes, Kumho Road Venture AT51 265/75R16s. Now to really give the undercarriage a good few washes to get most of the brine off. Ohh, and passed emission...:roadkill:

It's needs some finishing upgrades. All the longblock and turbo setup was done right. Lacking a bit of supporting mods drive train wise. Taking it down to the pdx area for some love and I'll throw some up once it's back. I want to turn it up a little bit more and go over to e85 so I can hit the 1k mark for those special occasions.

I decided I was tired of seeing my back spoiler/ dust guard as a dingy black-grey thing. The spoiler comes off pretty easy and with a little work the primer black refreshed it really nice.

1000hp in an IS300 is NUTTY. Even 700 is pretty wild. What turbo is it running?

with this mount is your amp running hot? Usually they want the amp to be vented . i like how clean its mounted.

I have a good contact with the local machine shop because of where I work. But 80 for machine and 80 for pressure check.

Tried to drive it home but then the A/T temp light went on and I'm guessing the computer killed the throttle so it stopped in the middle of the road...
All my coolant spilled out of somewhere above the front diff and the steering rack!

Rancho Shocks

I put a set of Rancho 9000 series adjustable shocks and struts on my 2000 sr5. Couldn't be happier. My wife recently had back surgery and the stock shocks/struts gave a horribly stiff ride. To harsh for her to ride in. Ive got them all set to the one(softest) position. She rides like a dream now.
