Do you have a link for this? That looks really convenient to have and I like the mounting upgrade/positioning.

Ordered the altimeter from Red Oaks. It's a little pricy but I like it a lot. The mount comes with sticky tape but I drilled a hole through the mount and bought the black hex head bolt and for the nut I super glued that to the trim. I think it's called a tree nut. Works awesome, I can unscrew the meter and take it with me on the trail.

Nice use of the winch! Now I have a reason to go out and buy one. I'm doing a 100% replacement with Whiteline. Not reusing anything! So for me I'll just have to use a puller from the bottom of the press. Pull the LCA off the jack. The diablo blade IS the way to go!

Someone on here was talking about selling his rig but changing out the LCA bushings before he did. HA! Good luck with that!

The whitelines come with new lower bushing metal sleeves?? ES only came with the sleeves and washers on top. Says must reuse the Oem sleeves and washers for lower arms. Now I'm really mad if whiteline comes with all that.

First off they were next to the razor clams not the salmon. haha! The kit comes with four bushings with hats on one side, eight washers, and four sleeves...and BUSHING lube.

That's one reason I picked mine up from a salvage yard. I've read too many horror stories on these damn things. Figured I would build them up first then just do a swap. Hope they have the bushing for you, or just return the parts you have and order the Whiteline.

So mad. Lol. I should have done that. Looks like Napa has a few moogs that come with the sleeve. I might pick one up and see if I can break the rubber and use the moog sleeve. I'm hoping I can complete one side today.

KDSS is stupid, but nowhere near as complex to deal with as everyone claims it is.

For me, the key was NOT using heat and just letting the jack do the work. I used heat on one of them, and the bushing just pushed out without the sleeve. Useless. The next one I used no heat, and it shot the bushing and sleeve out with CRAZY energy behind it.

To get that one sleeve out I took it to a mechanic and he used an air chisel.

My buddy told me he has used a hacksaw in the past to cut the sleeve lengthwise, and then was able to kinda fold the sleeve in on itself a little bit and just pull it out.

It's a huge pain in the ass.

Yea, I'm using the hacksaw method with a big punch and BFH. I was hoping you had some secret to it. Three more to go...

EDIT: If you look at the previous posts you'll see where I got the press stuck in the LCA. It came out pretty easy with a puller. Huge PITA all the way around...

I torched the rubber out of the sleeve.

Success!!!!! At least on one side. 2 full days to cut two control arms out. Press out and burn the rubber. I almost got the seized sleeve out to reuse but I used a to big socket and just pressed my 14mm into the sleeve. Lol. Went to napa and bought a new $30 bushing and burned it up just to steal it's sleeve.

Also had to use the tire vise. Table vise not good enough. I swear I could hear my truck lifting off the stands.
