I finally finished and put the bumpers on. If they look familiar that is because they are from Bandit Runner. After about 8 months from getting the plans and metal, they are finally done. Only have the one picture of the front because they rear looks the same as his just without the reverse lights and I have a flush mounted receiver hitch. My blinkers are now in my parking lights, I used an 1157 switchback LED bulb from SuperBrightLEDs and made the hole larger to fit the new socket, then got a new flasher that can accommodate LEDs.

Removed LCA Bushings
Once I got it down it went pretty smoothly. Got all of them out without any problems. Took a couple of hours between yard stuff and wifey things. Not that bad of a job. I'll press in the Whitelines and add in the new bump stops from Wheelers later on in the week. I'll do a write up in my build thread for others.

Check engine light resolved (hopefully!)
Took her camping at Garner State Park, about an hour and a half west of San Antonio. It sure is beautiful in the hill country:
On the way home, to my dismay, the check engine light came on, first time in this ride for me. The Torque Pro app identified it as a P0171, which didn't look catastrophic, so we took it the last 2 hours home (averaged 23.7 mpg, too!). I searched the forum to find that P0171 usually means a dirty MAF, which was on my list to do anyways. I took the MAF out, and sure enough, the little wires on the inside were pretty gunked up. I cleaned them off with CRC MAF cleaner and threw in a new air filter while I was at it because the old one looked a little tired.
Changed the oil too (GTX High Mileage) because I'm coming up on my OCI and she seems happy for now. Hopefully the check engine light doesn't come back - I'm about to be out of town for a few weeks and my wife is going to be DD'ing the 4Runner.

Finally pulled the trigger on TRD Bronze Wheels! Been searching for a deal and debating look and fitment for way too long. Thanks to a timely craigslist post, from new member 'Haris', I made the purchase and happy with the results. Now I just need to find a hood scoop in my area!

I bought myself a new ARB Snatch Strap and decided to organize my drawers a little bit when I went to put it away. Considering making (see also: having made) a slide out for my cooler like the fancy pants people with fridges have... My cooler is tall enough that I can barely fit my arm inside of it without taking it all the way out of the vehicle.
In the left drawer: ARB Tree Saver, ARB Snatch Strap (8000kg), ARB Quick Deflator, ARB Shackles (I think there are 8), ARB Tire Filling Kit, TJM Air Compressor (Modified to accept ARB hose), Jak Jaw Slider Adapter for Hi-Lift, two pairs of gloves.
In the right drawer: My Husky tool kit (it doesn't go there, but it fit after cleaning, so why not?), Window screens (@MyHigh style), Sony Tripod (cheap- works great for what I need), and TJM tool bag (full set of standard and metric ratcheting wrenchs, a few different types of vice grips, axle nut, screw drivers, crescent wrenches, 5lb sledge, other random stuff).
In the storage compartment: bug spray, teflon lube for UCA's, power inverter, some random rope, jumper cables, and all my tent stakes for the tent and awning.

Did timing belt, pump, t stat and tensioner this weekend took about 4 hours the biggest pain was the tensioner bolt if it wasn't for that could do it in a couple hours. One thing that was weird my right cam was off by one tooth. Never got a check engine light but it was definitely off. Seems like it runs a little better could be in my head though .
Swapped my old freebie hand-me-down Uniden 510 for a new dirt cheap Uniden 520. The speaker was blow up and dead on the 510, made it very hard to understand what anyone was saying. The clarity on the 520 is so much better.
I could have bought a new generic replacement speaker for $10, but the whole 520 was only 38-ish. Might as well just get a whole new radio.

Oh, also changed the oil this weekend. Spilled some oil on the alternator when the funnel backed up and spilled, so I sprayed some degreaser on it and hosed it off. Ran fine afterwards, and ran fine this morning for the forst 6 out of the 8 miles to work, then began sputtering and misfiring. Limped it home, OBD2 scan says misfires on #3 and #4.
I'm guessing some water got into the spark plug wells. I'll take things apart a bit tonight and dry stuff up.
