This past weekend I was able to continue on the front end. It's been a long time coming, but I finally got a much needed face lift. I'm also getting ready to start my Satoshi mod.
I took the entire front end off to access the rust. It wasn't as bad as I thought, and I was able to remove all the bolts with not issues. The bumper, and horns have been removed.
All cleaned up, and the new horns installed.
The new 4xInnovations bumper installed with Rigid Dually's.

Chopped and plastidipped my front bumper.
Wired these up so it plug n play for my future accessories.
I like the kuiu cap in the background...

damn, im jealous! I wish I lived 15 minutes away, although if I did, I wouldn't have money left to work on the 4runner. You do a lot of hunting?

Must be the fairing... The feet for the fairing are actually right above the weather stripping for the windshield.
It was made by a fabricator I found on craigslist, actually. I drew it up in AutoCAD based heavily on [MENTION=44220]BigFishAllDay[/MENTION] and [MENTION=68079]drabbits[/MENTION] racks.
I realize I took a pretty big risk using a craigslist fabricator, but he turned out to be a very nice guy with a lot of talent. I ended up paying a little more than I would have for a drabbits rack, but my wait time was about 4 days, and I got EXACTLY what I wanted. And I got to see it be made, which was cool.

thanks! 8 wrap double purple/lightblue/white and purple/darkblue/white i think, from memory.
Dealer matched a certain online oem giant for me. So all wheel bearing parts for $278. Axles are now at the machine shop getting new bearings, one new axle to replace the bent one. $100 for both sides there.
Pretty good since the dealer wanted 5.4 hours @ $108 per hour for the same work.

Hah, that's exactly what I'm getting ready to do in the next week or so. 4xI Bumpers have been sitting in my garage waiting for me to get around to dragging a few buddies over to get them installed.
Think I might delay and do a bit of rust proofing first, though.

Hello all, I'm new to the site and in full disclosure I'm not too mechanically savvy. Through some research its looking like I need to replace an 02 sensor on my 2002 Toyota 4runner. A little background info: the check engine light has been on for a long time I dont remember the exact code it read but it was an emissions code and the auto part man said it was probably an 02 sensor since i had the cat converter replaced a few years prior. I decided to ignore it since it didn't have any symptoms. This was probably 1.5 years ago, well last week it started shaking pretty bad as soon as i put it in drive and gets a little worse when accelerating but doesn't shake when i coast, but does at all speeds when accelerating. Does this sound like an 02 sensor has gone bad? Thank you in advance for any help

While I was at Bestbuy to grab my copy of Star Wars, I grabbed a new Kenwood deck to replace my busted radio. Should be in tomorrow.
In other news, as much as I hate living in Massachusetts, I like that I can renew my registration online. Renewed my bikes registration a few minutes ago and parts should be in tomorrow for that. I love having multiple projects at the same time...:redbrick:

Got the muffler installed this past weekend. There is definitely a drone between 1800-2000 rpm. Above or below that range is fine. Although whenever I'm driving my music is turned up so it's a non-issue :guitar3:
Over time I do not think anything will change... but we'll see i guess!!
I love the tone though, now my truck actually sounds like a truck
