got my 4.88s from east coast gear supply and retrofitted a e locker in her
Cursed at her. This 1,000 lb popup was unbelievably taxing on my runner this wkend. Think I need new rear brakes, did the fronts last year/3,000 miles ago but I've never dug in to the rears since I've owned it.. intimidated by drums. Couldn't stop for crap with this thing behind me.
Also couldn't get going for crap. Or get up hills for crap. Seriously thought the trailer had a stuck brake or something but nope (and I only have 4pin, so I wasn't using them anyway)

I know what you mean, its always my thought of. "Shit what direction was this spring"...I love that color!
I have been working on cars for over 20 years now and still when it comes to drum brakes, always take both wheels off and do one side at a time so i can run back over to look at the other side to see where things go back in lol

Changed my pcv valve and grommet. The valve came out smoothly but the grommet broke into pieces and fell inside the valve cover. Valve cover came off so I could take the piece out with pliers. Reassembled then the pcv valve broke in two when I went to connect the hose. Long story short: a 5 minute job took 2-3 hours including trips 3 trips to 2 different auto parts stores. Lessons learned: 1. don't change the grommet unless it's leaking 2. Use OEM parts when economically feasible
I feel your pain here. I went to pull the pcv valve out and the valve broke first and then the grommet broke into pieces. I used a screw driver and some chewed bubble gum to fish all the pieces out and then put it back together to be sure I got all of them. Pain in the ass! Luckily they didn't go too far back. Seems like I got them all.Changed my pcv valve and grommet. The valve came out smoothly but the grommet broke into pieces and fell inside the valve cover. Bought it, drove it
The list is starting in my mind of what to do though.
What's the significance?Washing, waxing, clay bar...getting ready for the summer, and I came across this, the "Teq" logo, stamped into the door hinges on my driver door. Just a little amusement, maybe made more so by the heat ha.
