What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

That's what happens when you're husky. Naw but I bought a new OME set up. My rear shocks are SHOT. You can tell mine is sagged in the rear more than the other person's. If I just push down on my rear end (of the 4Runner...) it bounces like 2-4 times. Replacing in the next 1-3 weeks.

Well sheeeeit! I'm a big big boy pushing 300lbs, I guess if my shocks every go out it will be easy to tell as my truck will just roll over onto it's side.

Yeah, that'll be a tell tell sign for sure. Once I get my suspension in I am hoping it'll be a solid vehicle.

These trucks are solid. Just need to know what weak links there are in the system and address them before they become problems.

Not at all with the stock 225/75r15's. Quite the opposite actually, its fast for what it is. Much more peppy than my dad's 2000 with 265/70r16 on 4.10's

Ah yes, I should have clarified that I can only imagine how sluggish it would be with 265-75-16s. I've 4.30s and appreciate them very much.

You need a few things:
-An aluminum block
-Something to cut it with(I used an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel)
-A drill press
-Tap and die set
-Set screws
-4 bolts and washers
-ANL fuses!

Once you have all that, not really much to think about. Cut the aluminum blocks, drill the holes, thread the bolt and set screw holes, bolt the the ANL fuses down and add an enclosure to prevent a short circuit!

In the Shop Again!!!!

Mine is sitting in the shop again for the 3rd time in a month and a half. :crybaby:

The knock sensor in bank 1 is throwing the CEL and I am not able to get full power to the vehicle. So I am changing both knock sensors and the harness, but also getting all the bulbs in the tachometer replaced since 1 of them is burnt out. All I know is that I'm sick of spending money on this thing!!! At least they gave me a loaner until the car is ready on Friday. arty:

Changed the Flasher to make my LEDs flash at the correct speed. Guys.... This is faster, easier, and cheaper then using those 6Ohm Resistors the Auto Stores try to sell you!!

If you could post a video of them operating whenever you have the opportunity, I would be very much appreciative.
I bought a flasher like the one you bought for my LEDs, but they were still blinking fast (slower than hyperblinking, but still fast). I ended up just yanking out the flasher with the LEDs and went back to incandescent with the factory flasher.
