Managed to finally get my switch panel installed. The only thing that fully works is the USB charger right now. lol The locker, reverse lights, and rock lights will all be hooked up in July.

How do you have the usb charger hooked ? It's illuminated so I'm curious if you are running it of a source or a switch and relay.
I haven't hooked it up just yet. Been test fiting everything. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll hear it. And I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will sound good. Because the box is no where near the right volume.
Got a small kenwood 5 channel amp.

Was going to grab my sleeping bag and do an overnight trip yesterday up a trail I was told about. But working on my daughters Jeep took too long. Fuel Gauge Issues. Turns out the damn float on the sender unit was half full of fuel so it wouldn't float... After that it was too late to get going. Today before heading out my ABS light came on coming back from Sportsman Warehouse... It's not the fuse, so maybe speed sensors. But by the time I was confident I wasn't going to have any issues driving it, it was too late to take a trip.
So.... Started to draw out my rear storage unit. I know what I want and even came up with a few new ideas for it. So that started me thinking about the Air Compressor and Tank. Before I start building my storage, I want my tank on hand since it will be mounted inside, in the front of the storage. Had it all in my shopping cart on Amazon, and turns out they want about $150 to ship it to me.... So that's on hold now as well. I was going to get these:
I'm not sure if I even need a tank, but I wouldn't mind not needing to run the compressor every time I needed to air up something small. Plus, who knows what will happen in the future.

So out of two or three projects I didn't get to move forward on any of them.... Kind of a wasted day. I really dislike days like this.

I have it powered from the on/off switch on the far right. I am getting ready to do a write up on all of this since it was a few months of research and trial with lots of error. I will post a link once I get it done and shoot it to you.
I only wish I could have found a rapid charger USB port for that switch spot.

VERY productive Weekend
Getting prepped for Browns Camp on the 9th I installed a 2.5lb fire extinguisher exactly where I wanted it - as close to me as possible!
I also picked up a bracket to use with the WM rack so I could mount the hi-lift. This is only for off road. The bottle jack works fine on the highway. This will not be my permanent location but it will work for now.
Took a quick drive to the river to see how the steelhead run is and to see how well the mount works. The base plate is noisy. I need to find a way to secure it.

Not really something I did today, or really did to my 4runner, but I took my 4runner up to Cape Canaveral to watch a rocket launch. They let me park her on pad 37 where ULA launches their Delta rockets.
If you look in the bottom right corner you can see the back of my 4runner with my zombie response unit sticker. That structure it is parked by is called the Mobile Repair Tower, it's what ULA uses to service their rockets after they stand them up, before launching.
I got a few awesome shots while I was up on the 7th story of the tower watching the launch.

I replaced the radiator and changed the coolant in my 2002 Thundercloud Sport. It has 146K miles and I changed it out for preventative reasons. When I examined the old radiator after removal, the bottom inch or so was looking pretty rough. It had deteriorated badly. That's the reason I changed it , just in case it was about to fail. It might have gone another 100K but peace of mind means a lot to an old guy. LOL
Yea pleas do. I have this usb charger also. Haven't hooked it up. I wish it had its own independent LED wire.
So finished up today. And to be honest. It sounds good. However it doesn't hit hard on low volume. And different songs hit differently. My box is way way to small. And I never heard a proper box with 10" sub. Well I don't remember how it sounds. So I mean I'm happy. I don't want people to hear me down the road lol. What I do like is that the base stays inside the car.

So how exactly does one get permission to go wheeling at NASA? Do they also give lunar rover rides?
