Tundra brake upgrade is nice. Been running mine for a few years now.

I haven't shampooed the interior of the T4R but I have done other trucks many times. If they're not too dirty the spray foam works fine and you just vacuum up the residual powder when it dries.
If it's really dirty you are going to want some sort of wet solution. Pre-treat and carpet shampoo liquid would be typical. Mix it with water if the label tells you to - use it full strength to get stains out. The trick is to use a little scrub brush to work the solution around and then extract it - either with a carpet shampooer setup or a wet and dry vacuum. You want to end up with the carpet as dry as you can get it. Try not to soak it too much.
Commercial machines are usually too large for truck interiors - the scrub brush is just right. If the carpet was really dirty and you used a lot of solution/full strength solution you are going to want to rinse it at least once.
Removing the carpet sounds like WAY to much work to me.

Tundra Brake Upgrade, no question about it. Bigger, beefier rotor. Less/no brake fade, better stopping power up front. Possibly my favorite mod I've done yet.

Tundra calipers? Where'd you get these? I'm thinking about doing this soon. [emoji106]Speaking of the TBU, a lovely package showed up on my porch this morning. Rotors too, just not pictured. $275 for all, and no mention of having to return any cores.

Replaced my OTREs and LBJs. Moved the perch on my 5100s from the bottom to the middle. replaced the 5100s and OME 906s in the rears with Tokicos and 7.5 Wraps. Put in my SS Panhard bar. Finally put the diff drop in too.
Ended up taking the front sway bar off as I'm not exactly sure where one of the bushings went. Definitely loosens up the front end. Not as planted on the highway, but articulates a lot more offroad.
I got a crap ton of lift out of the rears, and not much at all out of the front. I'm hoping the rears settle about an inch, but we'll see. It's at about 3" over the 2" lift I had in the 906s.

Now to take the other car and get some applebees and a 6 pack.:beer:

Of all the preventative maintenance things I've done on my 4runner since I got it, somehow the power steering fluid eluded me. Since I noticed my inner tie rod boots had some fluid in them when I was changing em a couple weeks back, I decided to flush it out and add Lucas PS Stop Leak.
Clearly it eluded the previous owner too :wow:
Painted my new skids, not looking forward to installing them by myself in the morning. This is right after 3rd coat, it all dried without any tiger striping and looks actually quite amazing. Did Rustoleum Hammered Black thinned with about 40% Xylene and it shot perfectly from my purple cheapo Harbor Freight HVLP gun. I was worried I'd lose the hammered look thinning it so much, or spraying it in general - worked great.
Redid the rack mounting method for my solar panels. Plans got boofed due to two 100w panels being exactly 1 inch too wide to fit between the sides of the cargo basket - I was going to have them flush with the top of the basket. Ah well, this is still 100% sturdier than previously. Wish the z brackets were steel though
Tomorrow: replace seized front passenger brake caliper, throw on skid plates, do another transmission partial drain+fill, connect aux trans cooler to stock trans cooler in radiator, and hit a trail. Standalone transmission cooler simply can't keep up in the afternoon heat at elevation, especially when creeping up a mountain side in 4wd.. glad my radiator has like 4k miles on it.
