New wheels

Got my 01 a few weeks ago with the factory wheels still on.
Plastic dipped them until I could find some new'ish wheels for a reasonable price which i thought might take some time.
well I got lucky and found some on my local CL.
2015 4runner rims, with tires. which is great because i can run these tires for a while and spend my extra cash on a bumper.

Thanks! I'm in amarillo. Theres actually a few sets for sale up here, between CL and the Letgo app. This was the only set with tread on them though.

Changed out shocks and struts on my daughters 1998 yesterday. The sway bar end link was totally off the sway bar. The nut and part of the end link were MIA. The end of the link that was still there was totally rusted through, so had been this way a while. I went ahead and changed out the link on the other side because it had started to rust out too.

PLEASE HELP When i am driving around aprox 55-70 mph, my steering wheel shakes a little bit. The Toyota dealership said it was my tires, i got them rotated and balanced, didn't help, so i just got new tires(285/75/16 Duratracs) and i'm still having the issue. Can anyone help me with this?? much appreciated

Wrong thread for the issue; but have you checked the ball joints and tie rods? I am going through this with my 2006 Tacoma right now.

He's right, wrong thread for this, but I would check ball joints and tie rods (like he said) and perhaps your steering rack bushings and steering rack follower. Did you get an alignment when you got your new tires?

Dropped mine off at the shop. Toytec springs and 5100's going up front. LC coils in the rear. New LBJ, ITR, OTR, and possibly new steering rack going in as well.

And 1.25" wheel spacers.

Complete tune up and valve covers. Got the front Toytec Boss lift installed, still working on the rear. Also did the steering rack bushings.

I have one of those too! I love it. The tape that came with it didn't work well, so I replaced it with some of the same stuff I had on a roll. That melted when it got hot. The standard white 3m foam tape is holding well now.

Deer Valley Jeep Trail

Did the Deer Valley Jeep Trail near Ebbets Pass, CA. Amazing how well the 4Runner did. It has 265/75r16 BFGs, 2 inches of lift and a factory e-locker.

Here's a teaser video. I shot a TON of footage. Not sure how to compile it all...

Finally bought some tires for the wheels I got ealier last month. I think it looks great and everything only set me back $350.

I had a can of automotive touchup in the aerosol can that I got when I bought my truck so I decided to paint my grille emblem. I bet it will look better when I get the truck cleaned up. Haha

For me, there was barely any difference in lift between 1st and 3rd perch with the 620 lb toytec eibachs and my tundra 5100's. But the ride is way smoother on 1st.
