Hours? Hoe about some more detail. How much better is the ride?
How long did it take you (it looks like an hour+ from your post?)and I am guessing from your location rust is a minimal issue?

Discontinue already?? It's relatively a new bumper though. I was quoted about 350 to weld it. So that plus the cost of the bumper is higher than 4x innovations including shipping
265/70/17 KO2's
My new to me '98 SR5 2wd 4Runner. I just rolled 200K miles.
Tundra 5100's front [24-188265 or old #F4-BE5-6929] and rear [24-100144] using old stock 2wd springs up front, new rear 2wd springs (old Toyota recall was still open for my 4R).
Tundra 5100's on second from top (4th from bottom) snap ring setting, (measured roughly 2" lift) and a Daystar 1.5" rear spacer lift [KT09107] on top of the new 2wd springs. Resulted in about 21.0" Front; and 21.5" Rear; measured hub center to fender. This is with a full tank of gas.
With the 265/70/17 BFG A/T KO2's (31.6" tall according to BFGoodrich) mounted, there is 5.5" fender gap Front; and 6" fender gap Rear. Again, with a full tank of gas.
It's a very subtle lift, and just looks leveled which is exactly what I was hoping for.
I have no idea why the last pic is upside down. The last one is how I brought it home. 15" Enkei factory option with 225's.

You sure your not me a few years ago? I did the same and took me awhile to get out of it. Gearing I can do two in a long day and I only do it once every two years or so,but That is also 124.99 each time
I have new plans for mine. .will be out lining in my build, but good luck!

Sorry, that was supposed to say "an hour". Yea my truck has zero rust, and its 2wd so there is alot more room to work. The truck had a horrible wander especially at highway speeds, that has been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced now, its a night and day difference. (oh yea and i was working on my lift, so that made things a little easier as well :reddance

Lesson learned for me today.
I'm trying to figure out how to get melted plastic off of my rug.
I have a new tailpipe on order. I thought nothing of driving without it. I drove 1 1/2 hours round trip with a few hundred pounds in the back on a very hot humid day.
I get back and my plastic cooler is stuck to the floor. Heat from the exhaust pipe pointing up at the floor was enough to melt my cooler and the rug together through the floor.
I did not see that coming today.

I don't know what you want, but I'd be pretty tempted to cut out the carpet and do Rhino Lining or Line-X.

Yeah it is a nice bumper and yes they are discontinuing them. I believe its a pain in their @SS to keep making them that being said its nice but it would also be nice to receive a bumper all ready done and ready to bolt on :clap2:

Got it a pal.. a pal that will likely bring demise to the 4runner. 2017 Flagstaff 176LTD (8' box). I've only towed a 1991 Coleman Destiny Cedar 8' box pop up with my 4runner.
Mine is almost 500 lbs heavier and I could feel every bit of it just trying to go 55mph on a relatively flat stretch of the interstate with no wind. :sad: Once I'm ascending to 10,000 ft? Ehgg.
But I got it converted to spring over axle this morning, 14" wheels and tires on the way (will gain an additional 2.5" of lift), and I hope the remainder of the season doesn't involve a blown motor/transmission/anything. Positive side: I have somewhere nice to sleep/homestead from if the runner breaks down in the middle of no where, which will be the only place this pop up ever ventures.
before the dealership did the axle and spring hoo-haw on it this morning:

No small miracle backing this thing up my inclined driveway in to a small clearing in my garage, coming off of a busy as hell street

Sweet! I've really enjoyed my pop up. How heavy is yours? Mines 1400 and it does fine unless I'm going up a mountain, then it's 50mph.

It's also 1400 lbs unloaded, figure 1500 with propane and battery on it. Problem with living in Denver is that everything cool and camp worthy is west, and west is mountains... lots and lots of mountains. So yeah, 50mph might be my top speed.. but even hauling the Coleman Destiny (<1000lbs) - if I lose momentum because someone decides to turn in front of me or something, unless I'm on a downhill I'll start a traffic pileup behind me because it's near impossible to get going again
