Tried to remove o2 sensor bolts to replace with new and one came off other i got it off looking like this....
anyway replaced with bolt and new nut
then cringed to cut into my grill but turned out well to clear for my new lights .... Yes they are huge, Yes they are bright.:llama: then washed her up and drooled

Got some KO2s E load today. 265/75/16. I have 99 coils in front and 960 back. It rubs on the driver side because the fender is dinged in. I'll probably go to 3" lift soon, and a front bumper.
I spent all morning researching Duratrac Cs vs KO2 Es and was going to order Duratrac Cs but nobody stocks them, every place here only has E load Duratrac and KO2. The KO2s where actually cheaper than the Duratracs Cs so I got those instead. $857 out the door.
I've only drove 20 miles but they seem fine so far. Although they got a lot of pebbles stuck in the tread already, maybe the Duratec is better for gravel? They were aired up to 41 psi. I think I will air them down for gravel and washboard roads around here.

Nice, I think the KO2's have the most attractive sidewall. I'm planning on sticking to ST Maxx's, but might switch to KO2's once I move out to California depending on the terrain I encounter.

Plugs and wires. NGK all the way around. Total of about 1 hour for everything. I got to have a nice little oh shit moment at the end of it to.
I took a few things off to be able to access the plugs. After putting everything back together I looked it over and everything seemed to be good to go. I get in the rig and turn the key. It runs for 1 second and stalls. Repeat that about three times. WTF? I know the firing order is correct because I wrote it down when removing the wires, double checked it via Google, and the cylinder number is printed on the wire set.
So, I get out and peek into the hood again. Nothing, nothing. That's right, that also looks correct. Hmmm, where's the plug that goes into the MAF? Oh there it is. I plugged that little wire harness back in and the rig fired right up.
I'll be honest though, for a second I felt like a complete moron who'd somehow managed to screw up a spark plug and wire job.

Replaced the mouse-chewed washer filler neck with a boneyard find that looks new.
easy pull out- push in deal.
Gathered parts for a mod inspired by our TDI jetta wagon and @Chim
Nabbed a boneyard air box/maf/n'junk from a 99 in case the 96's maf bites the dust. Will be converting to the cheaper style maf if that happens. Right now all is well and good in maf-land.

Valves adjusted, heads on, cams adjusted, exhaust manifolds on, valve cover on, intake manifold set in place. That's where I ended as my finger (cut on spark plug tube) started to bleed through my bandage.
Going to try to wrap this thing up tomorrow and have it driving for Monday!

Totally. FSM and I watched a YouTube video a couple times. Had a mechanic buddy come help actually place the heads, but I've done the rest.
Positive there aren't any rust holes. The rear diff was covered in pb blaster and brake fluid which made it look like it was leaking.
