good time to fix any rattles, replace all bulbs with LED's, clean heater core, and vents, wire in a scan gauge, install an antenna kill switch and a fuel pump kill switch

I went in to change some oil, and found some issues. Mind is going 100mph about what to do. We only have 2 vehicles until we get my girlfriends truck back, so I have to DD the 3rd gen. I don't want it to get any worse though, thats for sure. See my build for pictures.

I started looking at and figuring out how I am going to run this CB antenna as a regular antenna. Anyone know a good way to mount that spring in the stock spot?

Clarification: They are Bushings (for floor shift control shaft).
Part #33501G on this diagram. There are 4 total.

Every Runner auto shift lever has this issue. Bushings completely disintegrate.

And the top two are much easier to replace than the bottom two. Chances are you'll be happy with just replacing the top two. That'll eliminate your side to side movement.

replaced both front sway bar links, one somehow had lost its top nut and bushing. looked at other side and it was looking pretty worn and cracking bushings so just did them both,
went aftermarket, o rielly life time ones, nearest place, had in stock
figured this was one item that is easy to replace and did not need to be OEM,
we will see
very well made, exact replacement

I have seen a few 4runners with CB antennas mounted in the stock location. However, I also remember people saying that it is not an ideal location due to that mountinglocation being a bit weak for a CBI antenna.

I picked up the Sequoia wheels almost a year and half ago. Just put the Nittos on them as my winter set. This was a good opportunity to use them. The Toyos are two years old. So yes I do but not intentionally.

Sorry someone on here had an issue with the mast location and the larger heavier CB antenna damaging the mount and or body hole around the mast. I'll see if I can dig up what the issue was. Of course this might have been an outlier as far as occurrences, but it is worth checking out.

Mine got new (KYB) adjustable shocks all the way around, also got an oil change and rear diff fluid service. It rides 10 times better had factory shocks on it.

Cleaned up and painted the T4R sway bars and got some new mounting hardware.

Also received the last of my parts for the big overhaul (Front Bearings, LBJ, UBJ, OTRE & ITRE as well as TB, WP, Pulleys and Drive Belts).

Installed 3" rear springs lift with LC shocks. Fox fronts with #600 springs with reservoir. Poly bushings on the rear sway bar.

Painted the new oil pan with high temp paint. All the parts are here for assembly of the bottom end.

How tall are you?? Haha it is very snug i pulled on it and the whole truck moves. But maybe flip it around? Shovel only is super light aswell.
