Dropped her off for an alignment today and just got a call saying they cant align it due to front end "play" . Its got new lbj's, inner / outer tie rods and i just replaced all shocks / springs. I feel like they are just trying to get more money out of me but i dont understand what could cause enough play that it cant be aligned? :yell::yell:

Bullet is the dog, the rack is a Rola basket with 18+" extension

Thats Red , he is a Australian Shepherd . He lives to hang his head out that same window as yours does

Hard to say. Changing the steering rack bushings helped mine a lot, upper control arm bushings helped more.
It still shakes a little so I have more to do...
Mine is need of a steering rack bushing, sway bar bushings, and new end links. When I hit a bump I get a slight shimmy in the wheel. Id crawl under there and check the rack bushing first and foremost.

Sold my 00 Limited 2wd. Took the OEM fog lights out of my 00 before it sold and installed them on my 01 4wd SR5. Swapped the headlight stalks out and put new bulbs in them.

Thanks! I've been searching for 2 months, only in southwest states without snow and haven't found exactly what I was looking for until this baby popped up. This one is actually 400miles away, but I got super lucky because I had family up in NorCal that went and looked it over and worked with the dealership that had it, for me. I really wanted a Sport, but just couldn't justify the $10-$12k price tags the nice ones were fetching. Talk about holding value, I think they were only like $29k new! I'm stoked tho!!

Not sure if it counts, but I used it to go pick up the new project:
1987 BMW 528e. 116,000 miles. Timing has been done. Radiator replaced. All new plugs/wires. New vacuum hoses. AC radio windows power seats etc all work. 2 owner. Inspected until next year Paid $800.

My aunt had one. She loved it until it went into a ditch due to a blown tire. She then got a 330ix in 2000. The uncle had an 850 and 633, can't remember the specific models. Loved that v12 though his German mechanic from Stuttgart hated its wiring.....:faint2:

New outer/inner tie rods (original with 217,000), new lower ball joints (recall done at 115,000 miles), new Toyo Open Country AT2 275/65/18 on V8 18" 4Runner rims, 1.25" spacers.
All parts OEM.

Diagnosed a bad headgasket issue and it's gotten to where the truck is running a bit rough and am looking into a low mileage engine replacement.
It does suck since I've taken very good care of this truck since I bought it 12 years ago but age and just replaced the original radiator and exhaust since it is at almost 188k miles and figured I took care of possible future problems but can't predict a head gasket going bad.
