What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Anytime fog mod except truly anytime. Got the trigger wired to a switched source so I can leave them on as DRLs but still turn off when I turn off the engine.
 
Bought some stuff at work today (all OEM stuff)

6qt 5w30
Oil filter
Air filter
2 new key blanks
entire plate light assembly (1 left here in MA, 18 left in the country)
plugs
pcv valve
valve cover gaskets

It'll keep me busy for a little bit. I have to register it this week as well.

Thanks man. Been a bit of a pit lately from neglected maintenance from previous owner but I am trying to bring her back up. After I do my LBJ swap out, probably CV boots, tranny fluid change and plugs/wires I have faith!

Finally got around to cleaning the mass air flow sensor to clear the engine code I picked up after installing the Airaid tube. Went back to a plain paper air filter (non-oiled) and the thing runs stronger than ever at almost 263k miles.

messed around with my scanguage II before work this morning and got my Trans Temp working on it...

'99 LTD. 3.4 Auto 4x4
225,000 miles
Lifted on 33's
159* Trans Temp
173* Coolant Temp
75-80 mph the whole time

there was a fluctuation of a couple degrees but other than that, those numbers hardly moved on the 40 mile drive into work. pretty happy with those numbers

173* coolant is pretty chilly. What thermostat are you running...? 160*?

Not sure, whatever thermostat the previous owner installed. it usually sits around 180-190 for me during the summer, this morning was 60* outside so maybe that affected the temp readings?

It's not bad to run that cold is it?

It is likely a 170* thermostat. I was under the impression TRD did have one.
 
Changed the upstream 02 sensor, and then changed the nuts on both (u/s and d/s). Figured might as well take care of that in case the rear one ever throws a CEL.
 
Oh well. I mean that's low. But I'm not worried about mine. Hot humid summer day driving at 80 with AC in at 204. City like 198-200
 
Sunday: Bought it
Yesterday: Transferred the title and got it registered! Also got my black and yellow license plates transferred as well
Today: Drove it to work
