replaced the bulbs in the climate control unit an the two for the ECT/rear window/rear defrost area

don't even want to tell you how much i paid for OEM bulbs. we get ripped off up here in canada

I picked a set of black plastidipped 94FJ 5Star 16x8 rims with 275/70/16 Geolanders with some tread.

I tried them as is and they seem to fit on my stock 98 limited. Should they fit? I was sure they would rub, but they don't seem to. Is it dangerous? That seems like a pretty wide tire - is it too heavy for stock balljoints?

They are actually 1/4" steel rods, and they are called limb risers. They help push low hanging branches up and over the vehicle.

Yeah they can't monopolize everything, greedy bastards. At some point all racks look alike. It's also why we threw in the 45 degree bends, used square tubing and such.

Very nice mate. Going to do this when I get my new shocks. But I'll be doing it with everything on the vehicle. Not going to press out brand new own bearings and seals.

Did you do anything to reinforce the drivers fender. That extra battery adds a lot of weight and the vibrations can tear the sheet metal.

I did not think about this. Do you have any suggestions on how to do this?

Personally I haven't done this but I've seen it happen.

Sorry for the delayed reply, was out in the woods building new singletrack on the Berryman Trail!

The repair is holding up great after 2 years. Couple of things may have helped keep it happening in the first place (this is speculation on my part)...
1) Having that battery box brace up top to help keep the weight from wiggling.
2) Not pounding on the inner fender to make space to set the battery box further back. Needed to, but don't think I did it any favors!

Though I've seen a couple of posts about the same issue on other trucks. Have not looked into what their theories are.
IMO basically wiggle=eventual trouble. Minimize wiggle.

I do some mild to moderate wheeling which can't help but am thinking it's more the washboard roads that do the most damage. Like the 20+ miles worth on the way to the Maze district. Am much better about airing down for those, especially since OBA.

Those look sweet, I'll have to put that on my mod list, maybe when I change out my Lower A-arms next year, the bushings look shot. My spindles are a rusted mess.

Yesterday I changed out the o-ring & gasket on the oil filter housing. Was a pain to get off with my headers in the way. The top two bolts were pretty easy but I stripped the nut underneath. Bolt extractor worked like a charm. Had slow leak there for a while.

While I had the intake off I decided to put on the K&N CAI I had laying around. No CEL & seems to be running fine.

When I change mine out I'll send you my originals if you want. Complete spindles with my original bearings, dust shield an all. Its a lot easier and safer doing the mod off your rig. I have your address. I'll see what the shipping cost is via fed ex. Just let me know. Nice thing is there's zero rust. I don't see any reason for me to keep them. If you want my buddy to weld them on here we can work that out as well.
