Hi, I am new here, I don't have enough posts yet to start my own thread, so I will post my question here if that's ok. Any idea what this yellow plastic piece is in my IAC? My idle was running at 1500 RPM after I cleaned the throttle body. I took the idle valve off and found the plastic piece wedged under the valve. I fished it out for the photo. I believe it came from inside the valve assembly.

That piece looks familiar. The rubber intake tube that mates to the throttle body, it has hose clamps on it that are made out of wire (as opposed to flat metal jubilee clamps). They had a little plastic spacer on the back side of them to keep the wire bands evenly separated. They brittle and break off in time. This looks like the remains of one of yours fell off when someone was taking the intake tube off. Luck would have it it fell in instead of out.

I don't think this part came from the AIC or throttle body. Good luck.

Installed a new battery. Wife was stranded due to a "failure to fire". The battery was from 8/2011..not bad!!

Got my rear Elocker installed as well as the 4.30 front to match the rear. All that is left is a little wiring and i can have some fun.

My PCV valve broke and I decided to replace it not taking note that a 16 year old rubber grommet would break into a million little pieces.

I'm glad it happened though because I was finally able to see what the internals looked like. I think it looks decent for 230k and questionable prior ownership. Plus, I got to replace a leaking gasket!

Love the OEM+ look with the function of an aux port.

Predrojr 80, I got the OEM radio for $65.00, however it's not a dual din stereo system, :ybrick: FML. I was refunded, I'm still searching OEM radio w/aux port. I love the OEM+ LOOK, not a big fan of aftermarket radio's.

Those are the same ones I got expect mine are light brown I like them

Replaced spark plugs and wires with the NGK double platinums. Runs a bit smoother now
