lol! No bragging here. I see all these pictures of everyones post of all these trails, mountains, rivers, camping places and scenery. Here in hawaii its soo small that there's not too many place to go and gets old and boring.

Removed the catalytic converters from my rig - now it's straight from the Doug Thorley headers to the Borla Pro-XS Muffler.

Fixed my center cap issues caused by my Spidertrax spacers. Now just need to smooth things up a bit and paint.

Today I installed my mini header to replace my stock cast exhaust manifold. I cut off all of the heat shield mounts, painted with high temp header paint and wrapped with exhaust heat wrap.[/URL]
Is there a method to wrapping with exhaust heat wrap? Do you overlap at half the width?
I just tried to make it look even. I did overlap around half the width where I could. I purchased a 33 ft roll and still had plenty left over.

This stuff works extremely well keeping temps down under the hood with tube headers!!
Yes there is a actual "method" that works best. Consistent spacing is the key. I love this stuff and it really works great. Be careful on a motorcycle because it will lean out due to the rear of the exhaust (hotter) pulling the hot gas away so fast.
Soak in water first and keep wet while applying. (spray bottle) Anchor at the start then tight as you can 1/3 overlap. 1/2 will work but then just using more material than needed. Your good as long as you don't leave a gap along the way or small gaps anyplace. When it stops it needs to be at a consistent location on multiple tube headers.

GOLD MEDAL WINNER!! Nice little Whitey and some good looking bottom land! I hauled out 3 with mine. I just throw them in whole, and can fit two in the back without folding the seat. Just have to tie legs up over the back seat. Forgot my tarp on the last one this year. Then blew my radiator on the last trip into the woods a week later.

Today I attempted to swap out my motorized antenna for the non-motorized. Looks super straight forward, except my '00 Limited seems to use a different wheel well liner and I can't get it detached to access the antenna motor.
Really beginning to wonder how necessary it is or how easy it'd be to just patch the liner, because at this point it'd feel REALLY good to cut it into small pieces and feed it into a paper shredder.
....it was a long morning

Yep, Parked it on an incline and took the garden hose to it. Wait a few hours and hosed it again. Finally stopped showing after about the 3-4th time.

We were only an hour away from the tractor so we just drug it off the hill and threw it in. Did not gut it or anything. I had it tied up, but it fell over coming out of the hills and all the blood ran out. Normally 95% of the blood is out by the time we load them. Totally soaked the blanket, carpet, and pad. I could have dumped some Peroxide on it to verify....but I'm pretty sure I got 99.9%. Does not stink and the dogs don't instantly sniff it when I open the back..
Changed the oil, lubed the driveshafts, rotated the tires and replaced the reverse switch. Much nicer to have reverse lights again at this time of year!
For what it's worth if you've never done the reverse switch before and don't have a 27mm socket, don't bother. I went to 3 places to find that oddball socket and 15 bucks later I had one. Should have crawled underneath first as the deep socket I bought won't even fit over it, but an open end wrench will. Money wasted!

Nice buck, shitty stain! I'm glad we hunt within quad distance so I don't have to load them in truck until they're already cut and wrapped!
