If your belts are new and are tensioned correctly check the condition of your pulleys. Scrub them down with a brass brush if need be.

Yesterday I fluid filmed the underside and changed the oil. Filter had 12-7-15 scribbled on the top of it.:redbrick: The idiot grandson, who acquired the vehicle from his grandparents, went more than a year without changing the oil or doing any maintenance.

I figured I'd make the rig happy again with a new part or two...



Not shown are the Bilstein 4600's which I already installed.

Made it 2300 miles in 3.5 days, both the 2016 and 1999 performed flawlessly. All I had done to the truck was a regular oil change. I was truly surprised as to how well the 1999 held up with almost 1000lbs of stuff put into it and myself driving at 75 mph the whole way. 225K miles on it and counting ahead! From Buffalo, NY to Phoenix, AZ. Pic was taken right at the Texas/ New Mexico Border.

Were you riding on the bumpstops?

I just hauled two loads of 1000 lbs of wood pellets in my 99 Limited and the bumpstops were on the pads the whole way.

Filled up at the Husky rather than at the native reserve today... Because the the last 60L I got from the reserve only got me 248km... thats an astonishigly bad 24L/100km(9.7 mpg for you guys south of the border)!

I hung the bumper today, I am almost finished

Today I hung the bumper, I thought this day would never come. It has been since November that my 4R got totaled. I loved it so much I bought a 2000 taco just to get me around while I bring the 4R back to life.

Finally got it wired up....

I think it is weird though how my base model had all the wiring for the 4x4 ECU and switch but no mounting hole for the 4x4 ECU.

I had my valve covers off for some maintenance, so I decided to powdercoat them. Tomorrow I think I'll finally get around to doing the intake plenum, but in wrinkle black.

I threw some LED marker lights in my satoshi grill to mimic the Raptor. I have been contemplating on doing this for quite some time now, I only waited because not many have done it and I wasn't sure how it would look. I really liked how it looks on the 5th gens. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I just tapped into the driver corner and grounded the lights on the ground above the battery. It's a pretty simple mod.

Didn't even realize that. Wow. At only 114k, I may be able to post another 5000 times...
